Clean comfortable and adequtae....
The hotel has a good location close to the Promenade and within easy walking distance of the Lido and shops. Though most of the restaurants are further south there are a few nearby
The Entrance area is clean modern and spacious, and Reception staff were welcoming and friendly. They helpfully printed out my online airline booking for me. Not everyone speaks English, but one receptionist in particular spoke English well.
There is a small lift taking 2 people. This was not a problem at end of season, when there were not many guests, but might have been more difficult at high season. One set of stairs was available, but there appeared to be no secondary access or egress in the event of fire
The corridors leading to the rooms had an unventilated, slightly stale air about them, The room itself, single in my case, was clean with adequate storage space and the good size shower was in a 'bathroom' with modern basin toilet and bidet. Good and plentiful hot water. Complimentary soap and shampoo were minimal. The small TV showed only Italian programmes
There was aircon, but I did not try it, and kept open the door which led to the balcony. This overlooked a rather dingy courtyard. There were no 'views' from anywhere in the hotel, as it fronted onto the street.
There was no bar or restaurant, but breakfast (Croissant and a coffee) could be purchased at the hotel for €3 and taken at a Café round the corner.
Wifi was available and worked well
It was quiet when I visited, so it was not possible to judge the clientele, but I guess it would mostly be younger people, who would not demand much luxury. For them, and indeed for me, it is perfectly adequate. Not expensive and very good value

Very central. Good for a short....
Very central and clean. The lounge is very small and uncomfortable. There's no garden or any other outside area except the balcony, which has not a nice view at all. Staff is nice but not very helpful.

The hotel was a great oportunity to visit Reggio walking around with chipper price! So, I think that could be nice invest more to turn it better. Principally the rooms and bathroom. I've been there 4 times in differents seasons.

Great for Budget holiday
Spent a week here with my daughter. Rooms were basic but clean and great value. We didn't use any of the hotel facilities, except internet which had great service some days and rubbish on others. We did daily trips and it's well located at end of town near underground station (3 minutes away) and foot ferry to Sicily (10 minutes walk). This hotel is nothing special, just good honest value. Most of receptionists spoke some English. One in particular - Mauritzio? - had worked 3 years in England, spoke excellent English and not only super friendly and efficient, but a real asset to the hotel. Would recommend you take small kettle and supplies as I did.

Poor quality (Scarso)
I was there for 2 nights and it was enough.
Hotel stuffs had problems to speak in english so we could speak only by making gestures.
I needed to use an electric-iron and It was difficult to understand how is possible that in a hotel with 3 stars doesn't have the availability of it.
Anyway, the style of the hotel is very old and used. The bathroom was inside the room, without any bath or shower dish. It was made a shower on the floor.
Moreover, for this reason the water driped on the floor making noise.
I think for the price which it was asked and 3 stars which are showed, it's necessary to offer a different services.
