DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT STAY I....
Difficult to rate this hotel as i have to admit it very clean and tidy and the staff until we complained were very good, and we may have just been very unlucky with our room choice, however on reflection maybe the build quality is poor. We spent a bit more money and booked the junior suite, a sizeable and comfortable room. However I write this post in bed before I have left, as for the third morning in a row I lay here having had next to NO SLEEP. You are either kept awake or woken by the outside noise, the room is directly above a street where deliveries and cleaning take place, lots of shouting etc, this would not be a problem if the door to the balcony provided some resistance to noise, there is no difference to noise levels if the door is open or not. The doors and walls are so thin that you hear all conversations down the corridors and in adjacent rooms. But the worst noise was a toilet flushing directly behind our bed that sounded like the room was going to take off, after I informed staff and they were clearly not interested as they had no other rooms available I decided to investigate, the room backs on to the staff toilet and the store room which explains why at all hours there was banging and the flushing of a very very noisy toilet. It also explains why the staff were not bothered as they were clearly aware of the noise was coming from. Obviously staff need to go to toilet and use a store room but should they be directly by a guest room and be SO NOISY. My wife and I will leave disappointed and VERY TIRED.

Very friendly staff and perfec....
The rooms are very nice and the staff extremely helpful in helping you get around naples. Was allowed late check out. The location could not be better. Coffee and breakfast was also good. You enter through the one of the gates by pressing the intercom then go to an ancient lift. You may have to put 10 cents in the coin machine in the lift and press the button to the first floor within 10 seconds. The hotel provides the coins during your stay.

Nice hotel, good location
The hotel is very beautiful.
The location is good, walking distance from old city and from the port to Capri.
The rooms are big and clean.
The breakfast is good.
Only wifi was a problem.
We slept in the last room in the corridor and we didn't have wifi in the room. We needed to go to the lobby for wifi

Half term visit to Naples
A mixed review for this hotel. It is a little tricky to find and the 10c lift is worth the costs when you have suitcases. The rooms were clean and well laid out with a small balcony. The picture on the ceiling in our room took some getting used to. Reception were reasonably helpful although they were quite pushy with the trips, which seemed very expensive. Unfortunately the one trip we did book for our last day was cancelled the evening before which was frustrating. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. The first morning we came down at 9.30 to be told there was hardly anything left! The waiter did heat up some bacon, which helped. The location is good. About 30 mins walk to the train station and close to the main shopping area.

Worst Hotel of 2017 in 7 count....
The worst place we stayed in 7 months of travel in 7 countries and a very unique situation or I would not take the time to write this as I really don't take the time to write them(and certainly not bad ones) but rather thank hotel management and their employees directly. The bottom line is there are choices, so I would suggest going somewhere else - why take the chance. If I could make this. a zero review I would.
My wife and I are fortunate enough to travel all over the world. We were in Italy for more than 2 months last year, stayed in 13 different places - all of them very nice (usually 5 star) with the exception of this place. I have noticed that there are many negative or neutral reserves
Though the hotel itself was unremarkable, there was nowhere to park, it was inside essentially a shopping mall that had kids on skateboards, no way to easily get into the lobby and only a camera to help get you in, the only place to unload bags was in a row of irate taxi drivers, these issues unbelievably were not the worst.
The worst part was that there was a mixup in our reservations - which we tried to correct immediately and the hotel would not correct the mistake that they had made and wanted to charge us for it. Most reputable places would have easily rectified the situation. In this case, that was not true, despite reassurances from the hotel manager (Loridana) who literally lied to us point blank - not just once but several times. She actually denied that she had ever said she would send us a confirmation letter that the misunderstanding had been corrected - not a simple lack of a followup but bold faced lies after we had to spend a good deal of time to correct the error in the first place. Frankly, between her and her co-manager (Antonio), I can truly say that we have never had a situation that was so poorly handled and it is the only time I have ever travelled where I had to have the credit card company step in to handle the situation (thank you to Chase Reserve). In my opinion, and based on the other reviews I have looked at, if this were one of my companies, or were my employees, I would certainly fire them, perhaps not from one very dissatisfied guest but from reviewing what many others have had to say about this hotel and how they handle customers.
