Not a great stay
The hotel is full of students as they have hostel accommodation as well.
Room was dark and had mosquitos.
Pool and spa experience was not good at all.
The restaurant is good, the PiZza was superb and very friendly staff!

Good value for money
I stayed here in a private room. For a hostel it is very good. It is about a 10 minute walk to the center of Florence so the location is pretty good. I just wish they would pay more attention in housekeeping. On some days I did not get a new bar of soap or shampoo and on another day I didn't get a towel! However, given the price I would recommend staying here.

Totally exceeded expectations!
I was a tad apprehensive about staying here as I’ve never stayed in a hostel before (and I’m not 18 any more!) I need not have worried. We were in a private room (booked) in the private room building which was quieter, although there is some corridor noise and the walls are pretty thin.
The room was spacious and clean with a nice view of the mountains in the distance. We had a (cheap) drink and enjoyed the views from the terrace.
Overall it exceeded my expectations and has been one of the better accommodations on our trip.
We did stay mid-week though so it could be different at the weekends but I would recommend, just bring some ear plugs with you just in case!

I consider my trip there the best that I spent in Italy because the reason is simple in comparison with other hostels it's a hotel ^^.
I suggest this place for others who are gonna stay in Florence <3 I wish if I had more time to spend there rather than going back to Rome (the maze ) besides enjoying the summer there with the open air pool.

Great location and fun place!
The Plus hostel was a great spot for my group of 22 with university students and chaperones. We had a blast staying here and really enjoyed the happy hour in the basement and on the terrace after being out and about all day, it was a nice option to have with great drink specials. The breakfast was solid with options for gluten free and vegetarian people. Decent coffee and juices, yogurt, cereals, eggs, toppings, cold meats and cheeses. The only complaint I have was how much noise and light could come through the door from the room to the hallway. The fun-havers occasionally woke me, but all things considered, not a bad place to stay.
