Location, hospitality and good....
This small hotel is based on the crossing of two main streets in Reykjavik. Laugavegur (main street with restaurants and shops) starts in front of the hotel. There is a market 1011 right around the corner that works 24/7, and Phallological museum is next to it. This hotel is very close to all major attractions in. Hofdi house is right there, Hallgrimskirkja is few minutes of walk, Sun Voyager is also few minutes walk. Harpa is about 2km from the hotel and is the farthest sight. Hotel is not very luxurious but it is positioned great, students that work there are very helpful and friendly, and they have very good breakfast. The closest station to the hotel is bus stop 10 and it is across the street from 1011.

I understand that Iceland is an expensive country, but this room wasn't the best.
£500 for 4 nights, no window and a shared toilet and shower. Netflix in the room was a bonus as it was expensive to stay out at night.
The buffet breakfast was nothing special either. The usual selection of sliced meats and bread.
The lady on reception was lovely and incredibly helpful with info on excursions and day trips though.
Amazing country though, that i would highly recommend.

Location is great.
We stayed in room 204, the room itself was really spacious with a private bathroom and had everything we needed, fridge, kettle and a fairly large flat screen tv. The only complaint some people may have (didn’t bother us really) was the windows, they are extremely thin and the street outside is busy with traffic so if you’re a light sleeper this could be an issue.
Breakfast was really good, from cereals and pastries to hot food there was an option for everyone!
Free WiFi which would have been great but it didn’t work well in our room at all.
The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location, its pretty much in the centre of everything and bus stop #10 is right outside (most tour company’s will pick you up from here)

Great Hotel For Average Priced....
This hotel belongs to the average priced hotel. They have room with own toilet and baths but just in case you want to get a less expensive room, you can get a room with common toilet and bath.
Also, this hotel serves breakfast buffet and there's a convenience store (1011) right outside the hotel that is open 24/7.
If you are arriving at the hotel later than 11pm, please be sure to call them beforehand so that the receptionist can wait for you before he leaves and locks the main door of the hotel. Guests are given keys to access the main door so they can freely enter and exit the hotel even after 11pm.
What I love the most with this hotel is its accessibility to 2 things - the bus stop (Bus Stop No. 10), where all tour buses and airport transfers come to fetch and drop of tourists, and Downtown Reykjavik. The start of the downtown strip is literally located across the street. You have an option either to to turn right when you exit the hotel and take the scenic route of Reykjavik towards the end of the strip and walk back to the hotel or start with the strip and end your day at the scenic route before crossing back to the hotel. Everything is walking distance.
There's only 1 problem with this hotel... they have intermittent wi-fi signal in some rooms but you can always go to the lobby though for better signal.

Location is great, room was cl....
Truly is on the 4th floor of the building. A different hotel is on the 3rd floor.
The pluses: hotel is in a great location to walk wherever you'd like in Reykjavik, offers a parking garage underneath, room was clean & affordable, breakfast offered a great variety & hot options
The minuses: common areas (hallway) needed cleaning, desk staff never smiled or acted interested in conversation beyond the basics. A smile would go a long way, parking garage was a bit treacherous to enter & exit (definitely need your traveling companion to guide you in or out).
We stayed here ar the start & finish of our Iceland trip, and had 2 different rooms. The first one was very quiet & faced another building. The second one was on the street side & street noises kept waking us up. I'd request a non street side room. We had private bathrooms both times.
