Best budget Hotel. Clean and provides free food.

Hong Kong is generally very expensive and it will be a challenge to find a budget hotel without having to compromise on your requirements. iClub Fortress is the best place to be if you are on a budget and is planning to roam around most of the day and will only be returning to the hotel to have a good sleep. They had all the facilities that one would need for a pleasant stay. I took a standard room and it had a 40 inch LED TV, king size twin-bed, complimentary tea/coffee (restored daily) with an electric kettle, security deposit box, a mini fridge, a decent sized cupboard with necessary storage space and enough hangers, a computer table with necessary ports (USB and power), a bed-side table with storage space, very clean bathroom and towels, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, couple of water bottles (restored daily) and the complimentary WiFi connectivity which had ample speed. Now the only trade-off was the availability of space. All the above including the bathroom space is confined into a tightly packed 100 square foot room. I did not have a problem with that because we were only two and the room was just a place to crash and refresh after a long day of strolling around the beautiful city. The cherry on the cake was the location of the hotel. The Fortress Hill metro was a 5 minutes walk from the hotel, which was absolutely convenient. We had an early flight and needed an early check-out. They offer express check-out options and hence you may drop your key cards in the deposit boxes and just leave. We had requested for a cab (since metro was not open that early) and we received a call from the receptionist right when the cab arrived. Overall a very pleasant stay and no complaints. To all the people who are reading this post - If you looking for a hotel to spend your day within the hotel premises, this may not the right place for you. But if space is not a constraint, just go for it and book the hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Everything is accordingly perfect. The most important convenience in Hong Kong is MTR which is at walking distance. I would love to stay here again.

Good hotel for Business Travelers, not recommended for tourist and families with kids. Compact but clean rooms with no luggage space, no breakfast, Far from Main sightseeing attractions however location is good, nearby public transport and meter Station

Good Budget Hotel for the price paid. Hotel is old but the rooms are massive for the prices and hence its always a good bargain to stay here. Breakfast is mostly Chinese style but still few options for Western Food. Hotel is very near to metro and also near to Beijing Road which is a tourist street great for shopping and sightseeing.
