Good hotel, terrible dining ro....
I've spent three nights here with my wife and my sons and other twelve peoples. Rooms are wide, clean and confortable. But we noticed that our breakfast was terribile. No cutlery on the tables. Food was present in very low quantities (nobody of us has eaten anything). Dining room staff seemed lost the smile, the concierge too. Nobody of them behaved in a professional manner. We payed 11€ each for this experience. We had our breakfast in a bar some minutes away from the hotel. Do not ask breakfast service here, spend your money somewhere else. We won't ever use it again.

I had booked this hotel because of it's ease to get to the freeway. It was a half way point for a friend and myself to meet and we enjoyed it. Both rooms had a kitchen, a small table with two chairs, a desk with chair and plenty of storage. Everything was clean and well kept. One of the wardrobe doors is lockable with a separate key you have on your room key! Bathroom was clean and there are soap dispensers, instead of all the little (wasteful) amenities bottles (bring your own body lotion, since soap is the only thing offered). The bed was comfortable, the pillow absolutely lousy (some cheep poly filling). The church bells were very nice to hear every so often (not loud, just a very subtle sound). One issue, besides the pillow, were missing outlets/USB ports. Free internet worked well and there is ample parking. Both of our rooms (161 and 165) were in the back, so I cannot say anything about the street noise during rush hour traffic. It is very convenient to have gas station right next door. A Taxi ride into the city cost us 23 Euro each way.
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful; make sure to check in before 10 pm
since nobody is a the desk after that time!
Breakfast , in the huge breakfast room, was an additional 11 Euro and was very good! All kinds of bread, cereals, cold cuts and cheeses, yogurt, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, jams, coffee, tea....all tables were set with coffee cups, napkins and flatware. The hotel has a bar, but we didn't see it open and I don't know, if they serve any food.
It was a very pleasant experience and the value for the money is very good. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

I stayed in this comfortable and clean hotel with a group on an excursion. The room, which was actually a studio, was spacious. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom with a spacious shower was clean. All in all, a very good hotel to spend a night at.

Ok for working
Rooms are quite spacious and include a desk for working which is quite comfortable. They also include a small kitchen which could turn out useful. We didn’t dine in since the restaurant was closed. Ok to stay while travelling for work.

Gone downhill, drastically, un....
I stayed here for a total of 4 months, last year and this year. Last year I really enjoyed it and that's why we came again. Since the manager (Mr Bihn) left, the hotel is not well run and the staff are rude and unfriendly. Arrangements made in advance were changed without apology for the inconvenience. (Herr Bihn emailed to confirm all details, and stuck to them). Then they tried to overcharge us by 410€ and argued with us about it, treating us as if we were cheating them...until they saw the piece of paper (theirs) which supported our claim. They really were terrifically rude about it, arguing with us for over 20 minutes, also about their mistake when we checked in. During my stay only one staff member was friendly and polite. The blonde young woman who was there last year. The cleaning women are also lovely. Helpful and friendly. The broken microwave was never replaced, no apology offered (when you stay somewhere for over a month, the equipment you booked is important). Frau Matzke and Herr Schmidt need to go on a customer service course, or get jobs where they don't deal with people they should be polite to. A disgrace. Also, when the lift is switched off, no problem, but as they say in Germany "the tone makes the music", so informing someone apologetically instead of as if they are a naughty schoolchild makes the difference between a guest feeling appreciated and welcome - or not.
