This is a very functional Euro....
I stayed one night here a couple of weeks ago when I took an extra day to go to the porsche and mercedes museums in Stuttgart. It is over a mile from the Porsche museum and much further from Mercedes. You can easily take the S-bahn from the Porsche museum back to the main train station and then take another train to the mercedes museum. It is a bit of a walk to the mercedes museum but not bad. Never felt worried about the neighborhoods. Hotel was very clean. the staff was very nice and the breakfast was good. Breakfast was not included with my room. €10 for breakfast. As you would expect the elevator is tiny but steps are fine. The S-bahn can get very crowded but the nearest stop to this hotel is the last stop.
Maybe facing the back of the hotel would have been more tranquil but I slept fine.

A faboulous hotel to stay in S....
I have a very special connection with this hotel as put together I have stayed about 6 months in this hotel within last 6 years and again this time in March 2016. Let's start with the room first. The rooms are very spacious (2 to 2.5 times than typical standard rooms in Germany), well appointed. It has a large wardrobe to store your luggage and clothes. Flat TV screen with lots of channels available for the entertainment. In addition a Radio set cum alarm available on the side table.
Each room is different and unique in nature. Some rooms also have sofa in addition as well balcony and seat out. Each room has attached small kitchen and you can ask for a kitchen set that will serve purpose of basic cooking if you wish. Bathrooms are clean, a good shower area, necessary toiletries. Everyday cleaning is done efficiently. Supermarkets, restaurants, pubs in the nearby vicinity. Importantly a U-bahn station just 2 minutes walking distance available with a good frequency of the train. Hotel has a parking garage at the basement. A wellness area with gym and Sauna is available for the guests to use free of charge. You may also use Washing machine and dryer with a prior booking.
Staff at the hotel is very professional, helpful and supportive.Breakfast room is spacious, good spread of typical German breakfast items. Tea/coffee served at the table on request or else you can use coffee machine to prepare your own selection of coffee. All in all this is a very good hotel to live in Stuttgart whether you are on a business trip or a personal trip. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Suggestion to hotel management: Please consider having soap dispenser in shower area and near wash basin. This will make life easier for you as well as your guests.

Nice rooms and very good break....
We book two rooks for the family, they gave us two rooms next to each others with the door open between them ( was fantastic for the kids to run around). The rooms were clean and bathrooms had everything you need even a tooth brush and a shaving blade. They also provided us with a baby cot with no extra cost. The breakfast next day was very nice, good choice and clean. There was also an on site underground parking closed at 10.00 PM for security reasons. The only downside was the noise in the hotel and outside as walls are very thin. However, when you manage to sleep, you are OK. The prices were very reasonable as well.
IN summary, I would definitely recommend it and go back.

I was dissappointed and taken back with the very bad service the staff in the breakfast room showed. Absolutely no respect and courtesy for hotel guests. In fact the hotel reception gentleman ( I wonder whether he deserves to be called one anymore) even tried to defend the breakfast room lady's non courteous behaviour.
I know this hotel from almost 10 years but in recent years the hotel has expanded with employee who have little or no customer orientation and simply do not deserve to work in the service industry.
Avoid it like the plague.

An average hotel with nice lar....
I was struggling to find the hotel after coming by car, since opposite was a hotel with a more visible sign. In the end I found the place and also the way to the underground garage (go behind the building where hotel and Netto Supermarket is).
The reception is at the 1st floor (in the building is a lift), where you meet someone from the friendly staff. The reception is open till approx 10pm, but later you can call on a phone you get if anything is needed. In the hotel is wifi connection, so ask for a key while you check-in.
The rooms are more a suits, where quite big room is and in the little hall is a kitchen corner (utensils to be obtained at reception for a little feed acc. to a notice I've found).
In the street runs a tram way, but I had a room at the opposite side of house and slept well.
Breakfast buffet quite good.
The staff can speak well English.
What I cannot judge is how is the surroundings since I stayed only for one night.
