A modern and convenient hotel within the Munich airport compound and literally a few steps from check-in. We booked a room for 2 adults + 1 child. As we walked in my son immediately spotted the 3 biscuits and little bottle of fresh milk awaiting him in a small box, together with a Kempinski teddy bear. The bed was possibly on the "too hard" side for me but overall a wonderful experience which I hope to repeat. The breakfast buffet was incredibly generous and included in the modest cost of the stay. We also had dinner in the hotel, a rather expensive buffet at €110 per couple but very good and frankly worth the extravagance. A lovely hotel with excellent customer service. I certainly plan to return.

I believe this is the third time I have stayed at Hotel Kempinski at Munich Airport. While the services are always very good, what amazes me is the architecture of the bathrooms which seem to be designed for very tall, athletic people. The laundry line is basically unreachable from the side of the bathtub. The bathtub is difficult to climb in and out of if you are somewhat elderly.
I would suggest that big hotel chains start thinking about the older traveling public and consider their needs and convenience.
I would recommend this hotel to transit passengers simply for its convenient location at the airport, which is why I have been staying there.
