Holiday Inn Express Frankfurt Airport-Raunheim

This hotel is a business hotel, the rooms are smaller in size but its very neat and clean & very well maintained. The bathroom too is cozy and very neat. The reception staff on night duty was too good & was very helpful. As we reached at 11.30 pm, the kitchen was shut for the day but she went out of the way to ask the kitchen staff if they could manage anything for us to eat. She guided us to a very good turkish restaurant nearby. The hotel just 8kms away from the airport. I strongly recommend it for a business stay.

Conveniently close to the airport and also accessible by S Bahn from the City. The walk to the Raunheim S-Bahn station is a bit long and the road is isolated to walk in the evening. The room heater did not work for some reason, despite adjusting the settings. The airport shuttle got delayed but the reception staff bluntly told us that she cannot call up the driver to find out how long it will take to pick us up.

There were no modes of ventilation in the room. The air conditioning was set in heating mode, and wouldn’t work most of the time. The air conditioning did not even work in just fan mode to provide ventilation, due to which it was very suffocating. They weren’t able to provide even a table fan. There was no room service either, and the rooms were not properly maintained. They did not even change the used mugs or replace it either
