5 star breakfast - variety and....
Just stayed again at the hotel due to a very pleasant stay last time ... once again an excellent 2 night stay.
The breakfast, which the star rating is for, is superb both with variety and price.
Euro 7,90 for the most substantial breakfast buffet you will see and with flexibility for people that turned up just before the closing time ... the staff kindly left everything out a little long so everyone could enjoy the buffet.
Unlimited coffee/tea and 2 types of juices/bottled tomato juice, scrambled and boiled eggs, 4 types of cereal together with 6 add on, mixed types of bread rolls and standard bread (a toaster is available), 4 - 6 types of cheese, 4 - 6 types of sliced meat, fruit, olives/pickles, 6 types of jams ... and more.
Superb breakfast and good to see a hotel, especially one right in the center of the city, not being tempted to over charge.

Clean and tidy room, great loc....
I stayed here with my daughter for 3 nights to see the sights of Düsseldorf. The room and bathroom were both immaculately clean and tidy, if a little dated. The shower was good and the beds were also very comfortable. My daughter was a bit cold the first night (although I was fine) so on our way out in the morning we asked for an extra duvet for her and also to borrow a hairdryer which we found in our room on our return. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel (although it did look nice) as we went out to various different bakeries/ cafés around the hotel. There is also a big Aldi supermarket about 150m down the road which was handy for a bottle of wine and end of trip supplies!
The hotel is in an excellent location, within easy walking distance of the Königsallee (posh shopping - 5 mins), the Altstadt (bars & restaurants 10 mins) or the Medienhafen (architecture) and Rhine Tower (15 mins). If you prefer public transport, you are only 2-3 mins from several tramlines and the underground which is really handy if you need to go further afield. (It’s only about 25 mins from the airport using public transport too).
Unlike other reviewers who have mentioned the lift and noisy bars, we had no issues whatsoever with noise (& our room faced the street) and the lift was also working the entire time. We also found the staff helpful.
Personally for the price I paid, I don’t think this hotel can be beaten for value for money as we only really used it for sleeping. However, if you are looking for luxury and something special than this isn’t the hotel for you.

Nice little hotel
I chose this smallish hotel for its location. This name of the hotel refers to the fact that it is just south of the Königsallee street, which is home to a lot of shops and restaurants. This also means that the old town, the river promenade and the central park areas are close to the hotel, and it is not a long walk to the main railway station. All this suited my plans very well. I found the staff members pleasant and helpful, both upon arrival and later. The room was perhaps a bit old fashioned in design, but it was functional and fit all my needs. This hotel offers a continental breakfast for a modest additional fee. I especially enjoyed the scrambled eggs and the fresh and tasty bread rolls. One small drawback was that the free wifi was slow, and my tablet went offline frequently when I tried to use this service. However, I will certainly consider this hotel if I go to Düsseldorf again.

Please stay somewhere else
Its dirty, Damp, dull, miserable and very run down.
Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.
We were a party of 6, we all ate in the same places at the same times, however both my wife and i came down with horrendous vomiting and diarrhoea we are convinced we contracted it via the room as it was dirty and damp.
Had we been just a couple as opposed to a group there is no way we would of chosen there in the first place.

Broken elevator. No intention to fix it and big lies that they will fix it soon (it never happened). No intention to help with the luggages. So unprofessional.Weird Wifi.No good connection.I would not recommend it to a friend.
