Everything was good but just cross check while checking because I had pay extra just because they upgrade my room without knowing me. Apart from this everything was good. The view from the hotel is good and the room is awesome. Hope I should be there with my family.

The value for money was just tranished by the poor breakfeast service which does not go well with the hotels 5*. I expect to get a proper breakfeast when paying for a 5*. The food in the W-Restaurant on the night I had dinner was excellent.

Returned to Hotel Im Wasseturm for a further special occasion this year.
Same standards in place and made very welcome by all staff we came into contact with. The hotel was busy with the management and back-up team for the World Championship boxing match involving local boy Felix Sturm.
“d/\blju ‚W’” restaurant was our choice for our last night and it was an excellent meal with the wine expertly chosen by the sommelier to match our dishes.
Give this place a try if you intend visiting Cologne as it’s certainly something different. If this place was more central it would be much more expensive, but then again you would not have the quiet ambience it enjoys.
