Quite, clean and great locatio....
Great hotel, with very nice and helpful staff, very clean all over, and a nice room with a comfortable bed, and a nice big bathroom. The hotel was extremely quite, not a sound was to hear, which gave a very nice sleep. The breakfast was also very nice, with all you could ask for.
The location was great, only few hundred meters to the central station, bus station and tram lines. Through the central station, and you are at the messecenter. Also only 10 minutes to the town centre with town hall and dom square.

OK so the positives close to city centre, clean , decent sized rooms and staff were friendly and efficient. ...but it is close to a club which certainly on Friday and Saturday meant euro dance bass resonating around the neighbourhood so expect broken / disturbed sleep if you're at the front left of the hotel

Decent size rooms but noisy at....
We stayed in room 303 for 3 nights (Friday-Sunday). The room was a good size especially the bathroom. Comfortable bed. However my husband was woken up by thumping music at 2 am on Friday and Saturday night which continued until 4am. Our friends in a different room did not experience this problem. Staff were a mixture of friendly and helpful to downright sullen. Can't comment on breakfast as we had it in town.

Good Hotel in a Great Position....
The Hotel itself is clean. The decor is a little tired and old fashioned but ok for a shirt stay. The beds were very soft but I still slept ok. There is a mini bar in the room so we removed all the beer etc and brought water, milk and yoghurts etc from the Edeka supermarket opposite the end of the road the Hotel is in. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as its a bit pricey and there are so many options within a short walk or 2 stops on the tram that we prefered to have a coffee in our room and then get out to investigate each day.
I pre booked a 3 day, 2 adult Erlebnis travel card from the UK so that we coukd travel freely on the buses & trams during our trip. The card starts from 7pm on the evening before the day you start the card (I know, a bit random). So we arrived on Thursday 10th and left on Sunday 13th. I started the Erlbenis card from Friday 11th which meant we could use it when we went out to dinner in the evening on Thursday 10th and then we could use it right up to when we got the tram back to the airport on Sunday 13th. This was a very cheap option and easy option.
When arriving at the airport we went to tourist info and brought a single tram ticket for 2.70 each and from outside the airport we took the 6 tram in the direction of univercity to the main Station Bremen Hauptbahnhof. At this station go inside to the Bremen tourist info which is along the corridor of shops to the left as you enter the station. The assistants here speak English and have city maps etc to give you when you collect the Erlebnis ticket. (Do not go to the station info desk which is located in the centre of the station as here they just look at you and shake their head!). Its a shame you can't collect the Erlebnis ticket at the airport as that would have saved a little more money but its still a good deal and much more convenient than having to buy and punch tickets on every journey. From the main station the hotel is 3 minutes walk away. In the station there is a Lidl supermarket, McDonalds, Starbucks and various otger food places etc
The little short side road that the hotel is on looks very quiet on first look but actually there is a club next door to the hotel! On Thursday night the noise from the street was extremely loud and woke us up several times. I had requested a high floor and a room on the back of the hotel which did help the noise situation but was still not great. Thankfully Friday & Saturday nights were quieter. The rooms don't have AC and it was quite hot during out trip so our windows were wide open whenever we were in our room and all night. I would imagine that during the summer months the heat would be unbearable! We were lucky that the hotel was not busy and not many people walked past our room because when someone did pass the noise was annoying, the walls are paper thin!
The area on the short walk to the hotel passes sexshops and Gentlemans clubs - not ideal if travelling with children!
We paid more than we could have as we could only travel on specific dates, the hotel is much cheaper mid week. I would go back because the hotel is so well placed for trams etc but I would not pay £270.00 for 3 nights I would look for cheaper date.
There are lots of rough sleepers and beggers around the station but quite similar to other stations in Europe I have visited. Unfortunately they use the grass area outside the station as a loo and there is often the fowl smell of stale urine in the air. If you choose to sit outside the Ubersee museum to eat or drink make sure the wind is blowing away from you!
