Things are not as they seem
The room was large and very clean with crisp white sheets. The breakfast was excellent and very good value with a large variety of items. On the down side the wifi was pretty much non-existent unless you sat or stood near the checkin counter. Other guests experienced the same issue as we heard others approach the staff to find out what the problem was. The staff warmed up after the first day but were a bit abrupt to start with....first impressions do count. They mainly spoke Polish....not even German let alone English. The guide says there is a lift and to be sure there was But it was on the second floor meaning you had to carry bags up two flights of stairs to get to it....most annoying as they use words to hide the real facts.

3 Night Stay
The area where the Hotel is, is in a good location to many good Restaurants and close to a number of forms of Transport. It's about a 10 minute walk into the city.
Breakfast is very good for the money you pay.
We were in room 25, nothing was wrong with our room. As for free internet & wifi there is none. We had to go and sit next to the office and then often the wifi stopped ! Many others had the same experience.
The staff never really tried to communicate with us, We never heard them speak English or German for that matter.

Good location, does the job bu....
I've stayed here between the 19th and the 22nd of June 2017. The location is great,: Savignyplatz(nice area) , 3 minutes from the train station (and transportation in Berlin is very well developed so you can get very fast to all the important locations). I have stayed in a single room. What can I say? For the price paid the room is OK: clean, nice bathroom with shower. Room gets cleaned every day as well. There is even a breakfast option for 7 euros a day(which I have tried and it is good). The main issue is with the staff, which is very disappointing. They don''t speak English at all,and most concerning they are noisy. I stayed in a room next to the reception: they were speaking very loud until late in the night and early in the mornings: imagine a loud chit-chat at 6 in the morning between the lady at the reception and the cleaning personnel. Very unpleasant.
Apart from this, if you are not very fancy, it is a fair price for a decent room in Berlin(considering also the good location-very accessible by public transportation). Maybe you can get a room far from the noisy reception

Awful Hotel policy cheating in....
I booked this hotel through online sites and they simply gave me other congested room while I booked single room with spacious room. Which thy display in sites. Staff or may be owner lady doesn't speak good English much but clear enough to say no and she know how to become very rude.
Don't book this hotel because they have policy of nonrefundable so be aware I suggest simply no to book this hotel.
Wifi is terrible I have to rely on KFC nearby and Shopping mall wifi to do my work. I was there for 3 days 2 nights. I travelled around Europe only in this trip this was my 4th country I had wonderful stay in other hotel but this made my German experience bad.

Look elsewhere, there is a lot....
My experience of this hotel is not good!
First of all the staff didn't speak English (but I guess Russian works) so they were not that interested to assist me, my family and my friend.
The rooms are tiny and has NO ventilation at all, so when you come back to the hotel after a long summer walk through beautiful Berlin, you will walk into a sauna. And my friend got a room without a toilet.
Not only was it uncomfortable that there is no ventilation in the corridor also, but after walking up the stairs to the first floor I felt a smell of old dry urine, like someone had urinated on the carpet. Oh, and keep in mind there is no elevator in the building.
And the WiFi doesn't work properly due to that the hotel and all of the other routers around is using the same channel to send signals though which creates conflicts between routers, which results in the my phone couldn't connect to the internet.
And one of the neighbors ( club ) plays music to 03:00 in the morning, and that's free of charge ??. This was a night between a Saturday to Sunday. All the other nights was quiet, except for the morning when some of the neighbors felt to slam around with the garbage bin.
And when we where going to check out, my friend went to talk to the receptionist to ask what time we needed to leave the hotel. Even if there is a sign telling guests to check out at 12 o'clock, the receptionist told my friend which is around the age of 50 to check out at 11:45.
When my friend pointed out that the sign said 12 o'clock she told him to hand over the keys to his room, but me and my family could check out at 12 o'clock.
After stress back to the hotel with a child on 4 years. So I gave my friend my keys so he could return them to the hotel receptionist and check us out, it just took 3 minutes for the cleaning staff to knock on the door and to tell us to leave. I felt that the experience with the staff and the hotel is so surreal that it best describes as if the Adam's Family would had run this hotel.
The only few positive points about this hotel is its location on Kantstraße, it's a 15-20 min walk to center of Kurfürstendamm, Zoologischer Garten and all the restaurants around and nearby
My recommendations is to look somewhere else for better accommodations and there are a lot to choose from. I simply and honestly can NOT recommend this hotel, it is a no go!
I was so disappointed in this hotel so I'm sorry that I didn't take any photos of the hotel or the rooms of the hotel!
