Lovely Boutique Hotel
I stumbled upon this hotel via the restaurant Lowenbrau a beerhaus with a beautiful landscape of flowers and German music. I had a nice lunch there and observed the servers in their typical Bavarian outfits. I realized that the restaurant was also a hotel so I asked the waiter if there was availability and he so graciously found out. He showed me the room that was available during the time I needed it and it was dream come true. They accepted dogs, very reasonable daily rate, and breakfast was included. All of the staff couldn't have been more helpful, nice, asked if I needed anything, room was very clean, great view of restaurant with huge windows, my dog loved the room/hotel, loved the restaurant & staff, great location to the roman baths/shopping/museums/restaurants and overall highly recommended.

-No car access,
-no parking, no air conditioned, -limited internet (maximum 2 devices),
-terribly hard beds,
-no power adapters.
Was pretty nevertheless, and clean as so was the town. They have a fair restaurant as well. Was expecting more from the price and reviews though

Poor and unfriendly service
Pros: excellent location; has a 'Bavarian' beer garden downstairs if you like that sort of thing.
Cons: hotel staff were generally unhelpful and sometimes downright rude; there is NO lift but many flights of stairs - not good if you have heavy luggage as you'll be hard pressed to get some help lifting it; that also makes it not family friendly; rooms basic enough; no air conditioning; aforementioned pub can be noisy; a little difficult to access if you are coming by car.

Appalling service and staff
The staff in this hotel are unhelpful and rude. They broke my suitcase, told me they would pay for the replacement and then after weeks of waiting refused to do it. Not only this, but they verbally abused me in their emails. The hotel is also totally unsuitable for traveling with children. Rooms are very small and there is no lift. Parking is also very far away from the actual hotel. Noisy at night due to beer garden below.

Perfect for Christmas market
Well we arrived at 11 on a cold snowy morning but were met with the warmest of welcomes and were allowed to check into our most delightful room.....genuinely gorgeous
Suspect they could try harder with their Christmas decorations....as am sure there was one tiny spot which was not covered with decorations
But a truly lovely place, with a an excellent breakfast served over the road, and a great Bavarian beerhaus and restaurant downstairs...
Lovely staff and a highly recommended place
