Convenient and good cost benfi....

As usually on Ibis hotels, good room and bathroom , clean an quite spacious. Efficient and welcome checkin and staff. Good choice just for resting before/after a flight. The only thing I didn't like was that since it was sunday the restaurant service was very limited to the bar menu's options.

not all staff are of the same ....

* warm welcome by the receptionist * positive: extra door to keep out corridor noises * can be improved: attention to detail in the kitchen: i ordered vegetable wok for dinner and some of the veggies were burnt black, which gave the whole dish a not so pleasant taste * only ground and 1st floor, no elevator, so if you’re on the 1st floor, you have to drag your luggage up the stairs

Incredibly Unwelcoming Staff

Stayed at this hotel for one night before travelling onwards to Toulon. Shuttle bus arrived promptly to pick us up at Marseille Airport. Nice quick transfer... Check in was prompt with no pleasantries. Room was functional, clean and quiet. Having checked in after 10pm we were quite curtly informed that the bar would close at 11pm. At 10.30pm the staff reluctantly served us a beer at a cost of 8 Euros but we were not allowed to sit in the bar area to drink it. After a long journey and only 10.50pm we thought that we'd have a second beer... A quite firm No from the lady behind the bar who clearly didn't want to be there and was ready to leave. Approached the Receptionist to ask why we couldn't be served a beer... The answer we had was that it was against the law to serve after 11pm. Pointing out that it was before 11pm got us nowhere... May as well as talked to one the shipping containers they have as a decor. Staff are key to a good hotel.... Alas these two fell short of the mark...

Water at bath choked

Located in the middle of a industry zone. It is rather old and stained can be found around bath room and toilet. Most disappointing of all is that the bath was choked. I had dinner at the hotel, the salmon dish was reasonably good but certainly over priced.

Total satisfaction

Being greeted with a welcoming smile always makes me feel, well welcome. The person at the reception, I believe her name is Gintare, anticipated everything I needed or wanted to know and answered my questions courteously, patiently and with a smile. I loved the room, the facilities, the quiet, the breakfast and the shuttle but foremost the staff, including the cleaning person who greeted me cheerfully.
