Not a one night stand
Very friendly staff, an extremely comfortable bed, AC which worked without creating a din, and i really like the USB slot incorporated to the electrical socket. Breakfast was ok but evening buffet let something to be desired with overcooked fish and a very bland chilli con carne as the main course choices. But a good stop on the way South.

Last minute booking
Dues to a flight diversion we had to make a last minute stop over at Ibis Limoges Nord. The staff were really helpfull and friendly and the hotel was really nice. It was not the average near airport and highway hotel with a "don't care - we'll probably never see you again" attitude by the staff. They made us feel really welcome; Thanks Ibis Nord, well had a nice stay with you.

Hotel is having a renovation at the moment so some noise after 0730am until say 1830pm.. Perfectly stayable and OK if you are travelling on early. Hotel seems about 50% finished.
Nice friendly staff, rooms average at the moment, small but they already have the new Ibis beds so comfy.
The really good thing about this hotel is the choice of four albeit chain restaurants walkable within 5 mins.. Also if you are resting up for a day the regular every 20mins bus into town Number 10 or 20 is also a short walk away to the stop. Reception will guide you.
Breakfast was really good, lots of choice.
Going to be a nice place when the work is finished.

good overnight stop, Monday -S....
lean and friendly over night stop. very friendly staff. but a bit difficult to find without a sat nav.
There is a good restaurant next door but it is not open on Sunday so then you need to drive elsewhere for a meal

It was ok but our carpet was s....
We stayed here for two nights whilst on a battlefield tour. The first room we were allocated had a terrible musty odour when we first opened the door. There was a greenish stain on the bathroom floor and it appeared that the shower had been leaking for some time. We spoke to reception immediately and they gave us some air freshener spray which we used and they told us to leave the room windows wide open....in late October? I wasn’t happy with this solution so spoke to the very nice receptionist who told me categorically that there were no other rooms available. I then returned to the room and decided just to put up with the smell for one night....until I took off my shoes and the floor around the bathroom door and the side of my bed was absolutely soaking....so back down to reception again....this time the solution was to put down towels for us to walk on. I wasn’t happy with this idea at all so asked for our tour guide’s room number and told her we would speak to the tour operator and we would not accept a clearly flooded room. She agreed to come up to the room to check and once she saw how wet the floor was she agreed that this wasn’t acceptable. And what’s more she miraculously found us an alternative room in the hotel which was perfectly fine. So...why only a two star review? Well it took us over an hour to finally get our room, we were told there was no alternative room and that a manager would not be available until the morning we checked out.....I don’t think that this is anything near the attitude I would have expected from Ibis and although the young receptionist was perfectly pleasant I felt we were fobbed off because we were part of a coach tour. The hotel was a bit tired and the room we ended up in had been recently decorated whereas the first room was pretty poor overall. We also did not have any hand towels...only bath towels for both nights which we found a bit sloppy. Disappointed with this hotel and wouldn’t return there or recommend it.
