Great location. Grim room
Stayed here for 3 nights with husband. The location is very good, so near to all shops, restaurants and main square. However, there were a few things not to my liking. I booked a double deluxe room and was shown to a basement room with a scruffy yard and a brick wall for a view with limited natural light. It was grim! We were offered a change of room but warned it would be noisy, so we stayed where we were because at least it was quiet and cool. It seems the rooms are either too hot, too noisy or underground. The shower was placed over the bath which was very slippery - on getting out of the bath I took a mighty tumble and fell back into the bath. I insisted they should have a non slip mat in the bath so they swiftly bought one. I was given a small discount off the bill for my trouble/injuries. The breakfast room is a reasonable size but with a very small area for food etc. It is all self service so you must take your teacup to the food station and pour water from a kettle. There is no surface to place the cup on. All in all I was very concerned about basic safety at this hotel on a few levels and also the standard of rooms. Sorry, but it was not a good experience for me.

Great hotel in Lille Old Town
This is a great hotel in the Old Town of Lille.
It is a quaint hotel in a central location close to all the main shopping streets and historic sights. The staff are very helpful and speak good English.
There is parking available one minute’s walk away.
The room was a single with comfortable bed and modern amenities. There was a shower room but no bath. Toiletries were from L’Occitaine.
The only slight downside was the noise from the nearby bar which closed at midnight.
I have stayed there twice before and will hopefully do so again on my next trip.

A very comfortable hotel
The hotel is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bedroom was cosy to say the least but very warm and comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with bath and shower.

Great location from which to e....
Stayed overnight on a visit to the town. Great location from which to explore the old town with lots of eateries close by. Walking distance to all local attractions. Very helpful staff. Nice rooms, for which ours was situated at the rear of the hotel, with a shared balcony serving as the means of escape, overlooking a rear courtyard. The absence of air conditioning made the room a little warm, and because of the shared balcony we weren't able to leave the balcony door open. Management were happy to store our bags after checkout until the time of our return train journey.

Very friendly staff.
Beautiful hotel in an extremely convenient location.
Rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy.
Unfortunately none of the rooms have air conditioning or even fans so it is extremely hot & uncomfortable.
The only relief was to crack the window open but that meant hearing the very noisy street outside as well as letting in so many mosquitoes.
Some of the rooms have fridges but ours didn't. This didn't bother us but worth mentioning.
I really can't recommend this place. It's 3am now and I'm being eaten alive by mosquitoes while a truck is idling outside.
