number of chairs in a room
please give minimum 2 chairs in a room for two persons. Elderly guests have often a problem if they only can sit on a bed because there is just 1 chair in the room. With one chair is most unpleasant to stay in your room if there is no good place to sit.

We couldn't get a hotel in Central LIlle so this certainly wouldn't have been our first choice. Nothing to look at but the room was very comfortable & clean. There was a good choice for breakfast and plenty of it. In a retail park but good access to the motorway and close to the amenities of Seclin

Average Motel Style Hotel
Newly renovated, at least the rooms give an clean impression and the bathroom looks nice and tidy.
Situated in an Industrial Zone on the outskirts of Lille, but yet close to the motorway, it nevertheless is an quit surrounding area.
Disadvantages is you need to close the shades of your room, otherwise people can look into your room and there is no other windows available. Bed is O.K.
There is free WiFi at quite an good speed and free parking.
Breakfast is disappointing, Coffee is typical french style - meaning very strong, and bitter. The available Buffet is restricted to absolute minimum, providing something to eat for the hungry, but not for enjoying it. So at least you don't waste to much time there and can go your way...

one night was enough
The best thing about this hotel was the food, and it was jammed full of French Christmas holiday makers all tucking in so that tells you something I suppose. Breakfast was standard continental, the evening meals were freshly cooked and had a good range of reasonably priced meals (for 15 euros you could get a salad starter and main meal). The only other food options outside of the hotel are McDonald's, Subway etc(the hotel is on an industrial state miles from anywhere, so forget popping out to a local restaurant).
The second best thing were the staff, none of whom spoke English fluently, but did their very best to accommodate the guests.
The rooms are separate from the hotel in a chalet like building, only two storeys but no lift and no porters to help if you are struggling up the horrible concrete stairs.
Externally unprepossessing but once you are in, the rooms are warm and clean. French telly but hey, you are in France. Coffee, tea and kettle provided. Beds good.
Moans: I couldn't get my shower to produce hot water (lukewarm only), but this is probably due to my incompetence. The shutter in my room was broken so once I had struggled (that's the second time I have used the word 'struggled') to get the thing down I couldn't open it again.
I didn't have a problem with noise but one of my fellow travelers said that the wall were so thin between the rooms they could hear their neighbours very loud conversation and even... aaaargh going to the toilet
Very basic toiletries and towels, but a hairdryer(hooray), Smokers will be glad to know there is a little walkway outside of the rooms,so you can have a fag without the trudge of going down to the ground floor or smoking out of the windows(naughty!).
We stayed as part of a Christmas Market trip, so we had transport, we were driven there in the coach and the next day left for the Lille Christmas market, so I have no idea about driving and ease of access.
Would I stay there again, only if I absolutely had to.

As expected, it's an unremarkable grey building on a vast retail park on the edge of town. Check-in is in the adjoining restaurant, and most room having their shutters down doesn't help the 'prison camp' feel. However, once inside your room things get better: there's a large comfortable bed, good bedding, TV, free wifi, good bathroom, kettle; the only omissions to comment on are that the room is rather small, and there's no air conditioning - as it was over 30C outside, the room was very stuffy. With the window open you are well aware you're right under the flight path for Lille airport.
The restaurant was expensive with an unadventurous menu; fortunately we had a car so we could track down a better alternative; unfortunately we couldn't find a better alternative either on the retail or in Seclin itself, so we ended up with a (good) takeaway pizza.
For €46, far better value than an 'upmarket' chain, but air conditioning and better value catering options would have been welcome.
