Our first night (June 22) was lovely, we had an room overlooking the courtyard, and it had been upgraded and was quiet. The second night we had a room on the street, and being Saturday night, it was very noisy. We will ask for a courtyard room when we come again.

Good size room and great brekkie. Would have liked tea/coffee in room. We were above the car park which was very noisy at all times of the day and night. A short walk to town area. We were given a free drink voucher from the hotel which was a nice touch. Would recommend, but ask for a front room.

A great place for the students and backpackers. It's centrally located and very convenient. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very . Very reasonable . I stayed in 4 mix dorm and found it very clean. You get to make friends. On the whole a satisfying experience. I will surely come here on my next trip. Copenhagen is a young and happening place. The Danes don't need a reason to party! A very cosmopolitan city with a great outlook. Very safe too. In spite of the fact that it was my first trip here, I felt at home. Travelled on public transport and cycles. You should try cycling without fail! The downtown hostel provides you cycles too. The downtown hostel is also very safe.

The location was surely excellent but it seemed as if the room was not ready for us. Many things were missing (shower cap and gel and glasses) and were supplied the following day. The room was not that clean. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was great. I would not book in the same hotel again because I think cleanliness is key.

The lack of curtains for privacy and to block out light was terrible. I have never been in a hotel without curtains. The carpets and chairs in the room were also absolutely disgusting. Many of the stains were very indicative of sexual intercourse. The staff made me feel like these were my problems. They changed the rooms for me, but I was at a conference and when I entered my second room, it was after the conference dinner and the second room also did not have any curtains. It is unfortunate, because the experience could have been much more enjoyable had the rooms had curtains for privacy (the one room has a very, very light cloth, but anyone looking in could see anything) and the lack of cleanliness was simply disgusting. Also it is very disturbing when a hotel advertises internet and then does not have it. There is no excuse for that. It takes a couple of hours to fix internet problems if you have a paid account. I do it all the time. I talked with guests that were leaving and had been there for 3 days and said there was no internet the whole time and I did not have it for 3 days, so that is at least a week where they had not addressed the problem.

The location of this hotel is excellent being withing sight of the central train station, 12 minutes from the airport and only a short walking distance to the old part of town and the main shopping street. It is also only a few minutes walk to the famous Tivoli Gardens. Everything in fact is literally on the doorstep. There is a very pleasent breakfast restaurant, and a lovely outdoor courtyard filled with scupltures. The room was spotless, large and well equipped. There was minimal noise from the train station. The swim centre is state of the art and the diving range is wonderful. For the price it is a terrific hotel offering more than you would expect from a three star hotel. There is access to everything from table tennis to bowling. I will definately stay here again next time I visit Copenhagen as I think it is the best value the city has to offer.

I was at Copenhagen for a week for work. The hotel is well located meeting most of the requirements (though an in-room tea/coffee facility would have be really appreciated). Free wifi was really helpful a good speed. Breakfast was fresh really good. The only down side was the room size (I was in a double superior). Overall, I would recommend this is you are looking for a B&B.

The hotel must have been a nice one some decades ago. It is aging now and some broken things are not beeing replaced in the rooms. It is difficult to see how it still is a 4*. It then seems expensive. Breakfast is good, & the italian restaurant is expensive for its prestation. But the hotel is very well located; metro, trains (to&from the airport i.e.), and of course all the main attractions.

We hated our "tourist room" as it was too cramped. There wasn't much space between the foot of the bed and the wall, and the bathroom door almost hit the corner of the bed. We stayed in the "700-section" of the hotel, and apparantly those were the worst rooms! The room was clean but it is an old hotel and very worn. The breakfast buffet was alright, with hot foods consisting of scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon and pancakes. The location was great and the staff was friendly, but next time I won't pick this particular hotel based on the quality and size of the room.

I chose the Kong Frederik by recommendation of my very old friend Vibeke Windraht, who unfortunately doesn't work with the nice Italian restaurant anymore. Sure I'll come back to this hotel for my next stay in Copenhagen. What I have to point out is the extremely comfortable bed. The staff is very well trained and very helpful and friendly, in the hotel as well as in the restaurant.

Nice hotel. Food was good with multiple options. Staff is very helpful and cooperative. Location is perfect to commute in any part as it is located very near to Vesterport station also to Copenhagen central station. Overall experience was nice.

The room and the ambience was good. We did not try the food as we are vegetarians. The location was a little away from the town but transport was easily available. Our room was very far from the elevator. Being senior citizen we had difficulty in moving our luggage.

If you are going to travel for most part of the day and would just like to find a decent room in a good location to rest for the night, then Cabinn Metro is a great value for money. It is located mid way between the city center and the Copenhagen airport which makes it quite accessible. The rooms were quite small but at least we had a private bathroom and were both well maintained. The staff were quite friendly as well. Overall, it was a good experience.
