Very good location for a very unconfortable hostel.
We were set to a kind of dependance which was outside the building in which the hostel is located. We have a piece of iron coming out from our bed. The bedroom was not really clean and toilet had no sink. The only good thing is the location, just a few steps away from Old Town Square. But i guess you can find lot of better accomodations in Prague.

Worst place I have ever stayed
I have stayed in many places, from 5* hotels to the most basic hostel dormitories and this is the only place I have wanted to leave before we'd started!
We booked it as it was central and we were arriving in the evening and staying outside of the city for the rest of our stay so we thought cheap and basic but close to station and bars/sights would do for the first night. However, (as I now see other reviewers have experienced), when we arrived at the hostel (around 2030, not too late!) there was no answer and we had to call a number (fortunate we had a phone then...) and someone was sent to let us in. This meant hanging around outside for haf an hour (which meant the idea of dumping our bags and getting out and about was somewhat wasted, we could have travelled to the hotel outside of the centre which we were heading to the next day in that time!)
Once a girl did arrive to check us in she was pleasant enough however I was appalled at everything else. Lights in the stairwells did not work which made unlocking the door difficult. We were expected to pay in cash immediately however they had no change available so we had to wait for her to return with some. The room and shared areas were filthy and the bedroom smelled sweaty and horrid. If it wasn't already getting late I would seriously have left to find alternative accomodation before the girl came back to take our money.
In all, compared to everywhere else we stayed on this trip (5 places in all, 3 hostels, one apartment, one hotel) this was shocking and not even value for money, for a couple of pounds more per night you have have much better. For the rest of our time in Prague we stayed at Panorama hotel, and the contrast could not be greater. We had wanted basic and cheap for our 1st night but the whole experience was horrendous.
Do not stay here, you'd be better off crashing on a park bench and using the loos in Starbucks!

Don't stay here
We booked online a couple of days before arriving & paid a deposit but when we got there, after waiting 2 hours to check in, we were told that we had to pay local taxes which made it almost twice the price and more expensive than a lovely apartment we had previously stayed in near the castle. Staff were unhelpful & couldn't care less about their guests. Rooms were dirty, there were no lights in the corridors, windows didn't open, showers were filthy and power sockets hanging off the walls. Do not stay here!
Prague is a great place but this is the bum hole of Prague.

Poor from start to finish
We arrived slightly later than anticipated due to train trouble and despite being assured that the reception was open till 11 it was not open at 8 and we were then forced to wait half an hour as no one could be bothered to check us in.
The rooms were military to the extreme and despite being relatively cheap at 13 pounds a night each. There is much much better value out there. The location was good and it was close to the heart of the city but this did not make up for the lack of many basic amenities. For example the lights in the stairwell of the building did not work!!
Overall I would avoid the condor 1.
