Would've liked to stay longer!
I think we liked everything about this place. We thought the hostess was great. She communicated with us before arrival (her English is great, she knows a little Russian, too; obviously, Czech), and was willing to work with us a little after arrival to see if we could extend our stay. Our room was plenty big for all 7 of us. Parking was on-site and free and fit our American mid-size SUV. Wi-Fi worked. We enjoyed breakfast, which was the standard European fare as well as eggs to order. Again, no complaints there. Everything was in working order and was clean. We are definitely considering this place as our top choice next time we go to Brno.
For us, the location was great because our main purpose in Brno was to visit family, but if you're there for the convention center or to sightsee, this might be a little out of the way, but there's a bus stop nearby, so it shouldn't be a deterrent.

Surely we will stay at Levandu....
Levandule is small, cute and wonderful B&B hotel with comfortable, big rooms and
provides a friendly environment. Also, it has very nice breakfast and if you want
an extra omelet or sausages Mrs Miriam is always there to bake for you. We had a wonderful time there and surely we will stay at Levandule again.

A Beauty in Brno
The Levandule is a small hotel/ B&B in a safe residential part of Brno about halfway between the university and the old town. Quick, frequent buses take you quickly everywhere from the front of the hotel.Clean, spacious rooms, well furnished and with comfortable beds. I stayed a week to visit a friend and visit the city and surroundings. Miriam, the perfect hostess, makes everything work and work wonderfully in both Czech and English. Breakfast is excellent with the usual meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, drinks and all. In addition, Miriam cooks a hot breakfast for you! Delicious! The restaurant/pub up the road serves great Czech meals and beers and is frequented by locals and university students. Few tourists although you can get an English menu. Key to the front door and your room. It is a superb place to stay for a night or a week.

Large quiet room with a great ....
Our reservation was made only a few hours prior to our arrival on March 2016 yet Miriam made us feel very welcome. Our room was huge with high ceilings, quiet and clean and a great value. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Europe with fruits, vegetables, yogurt, meats, cheese, breads, juices, cereal, great coffee and wonderful made to order fluffy eggs and sausages (or ham) and more. The location was convenient to major highways when travelling from Germany to Budapest. We had off street parking right in front of the B&B. Coffee, tea, beer and wine is always available in the dining room. Wifi worked great. Miriam speaks 6 languages and made us feel welcome from the moment she met us outside the front door!

Efficient and friendly family ....
A small family run B&B. Efficient and friendly service. Owner speaks English. Large, clean rooms. The two room 'apartman' we stayed in is probably more suitable for family than business travellers (lots of space, but no writing desk). By a trolleybus stop and there is reasonbly and quick access to city centre (change from trolleybus bus to tram; total journey time 15-20 mins). Some traffic noise from main road a few hundred metres behind the penzion (over the trees) on week days and cockerel somewhere in the locality that crows at the usual kind of early morning times. Wifi worked acceptably but signal strength varied. Breakfast was fine.
Point to watch: front door can be tricky to open. Make sure owner shows you how and that you pay close attention when she does).
