Must be lucky to get so, so ro....
Smoking everywhere, without any restrictions, even room marked as no smoking smells smoked well. Bed seems OK, but I have no problem with hard ones. Bed sheets OK, cleaning will require serious control. Just to say good positioned for Huaquiangbei. Other is very average or even much bellow EU, US hotel/motel standards.

HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY
If you want a comfortable, enjoyable place to stay to give you a good idea of what a great city Shenzhen is ,,,don't stay here. Beds are hard. Staff is rude. No one speaks English or any other language but Mandarin. Floors and carpets are dirty. Stairwells and hallways are usually dark at night. Street people often stay there for several hours, they come and go at all hours of the night. The windows are filty. One washing machine for 22 floors so forget that. Maids are nice but can't help you. No change for washing machine. Hot stuffy lobby, they allow smoking on all floors and rooms even though you will see no smoking signs. Showers leak, sink leaks. Towels smell odd. The area around the hotel is dirty , rubbish everywhere. Late nights you will hear drunks from KTV near by fighting on the street. Constant construction going on , no uncommon to hear machines working late nights and early mornings. Curtains dirty.
Save your money and stay in a place that takes pride in their work.

Cheap but poor quality
I stayed in the "round" room, where the bed and room is a round design. The room was very run down, not very clean with the floor feeling sticky. The mattress was already too worn in until I could feel the unevenness for the bed planks. I was not able to shut the windows tight as the rubber seals were missing which affected my sleep at night due to the construction that was going on at the main road. Terrible place to stay. Management should consider refurbishing the place.

Middle of hot spot!
The hotel is located very near to Hua Qiang Road, just opposite of Cybermall. Walking distance to all electronic/3C mall around the area. Walking distance from metro station but their main entrance is facing parking lots, sideways and at the back of the building, had to pay attention to the signboard along the road if coming from metro station A exit. the room round bad is special but it quit old, but clean, the room is a bit too dark, lighting on bathroom is very dim. In room broadband is good but dont have Wifi. Overall a good hotel if you have some business to deal @ Hua qiang area, or you keen to buy 3C product at that area.

A Grandpa stands by the front door at Motel 268 from about 4PM until midnight. As my girlfriend walked ahead, he handed me a "business" card featuring young women in lingherie and phone numbers. Around midnight, light taps on my door announced "dingdong" girls who rent rooms here for a few hours, and then literally go door to door. Management gives you a plastic key for the elevator but I saw "security" use their own cards to send these young businesswomen upstairs. I guess it's the China way. I was given 3 more cards on the way to Pizza Hut. The metro is 3 long blocks away and you have to go up and down about 150 steps before you reach the Metro entrance. "Subway" means under the street, NOT Metro. I had packages sit for days even though I kept asking if they had arrived. Hotel trash sits iun huge piles along the side wall unemptied for days. Dirty sheets are piled all day in the hallway.
