Convenient hotel for transit
Reasonable accommodation close to the airport. Staff were helpful, our room was quiet and clean and the bed was comfortable. We did take the bus to the city but would not recommend - it is at least one and a half hours each way with bus changes. however would use again if transiting through Shanghai. Be prepared to wait for the shuttle transport

Good transit airport hotel
I had to make a one-night stay-over in Pudong before taking my flight to Amsterdam next morning. There are no hotels close to Shanghai International airport. This one was 15 minutes away with the hotel shuttle. Leave the airport at arrival gate 27 (hotel shuttles). There you see a sign with the phone number you have to call to pick you up. My waiting time was about 20 minutes. Next morning shuttles were running every hour and my shuttle bus was perfectly on time.
I had a comfortable room, wifi worked well. Dinner was included, not a 5-star experience, but just OK. The hotel does what an airport hotel should do. The front desk staff just speaks enough English to check you in, no other staff speaks something else than Chinese.

Better last year
Stayed in this hotel a year ago and booked it again as I needed an airport hotel. Disappointed. The room was supposed to be non smoking but it smell a lot of smoke. Dinner was included but skip it. Transfer to and from the airport was included but I had to wait 30 min before the car arrived. On my way back the car was loaded with fruits and groceries

A run down hotel, perfect for ....
Pretty run down hotel. Perfect for transit. Rooms are small and smelly. Corridor smells with cigarette. Rooms are quite tired too. Staff are very friendly and they have huge numbers of restaurant nearby. The hotel itself offer complimentary decent dinner for the guest(only plus point I will say, the choices are good too). The breakfast is no where near to the standard I received in my Chinese trips so far.

Very good PVG transit hotel
Arrived at PVG airport around 10AM and used the airports lockers to store bags and take maglev into city. Anyways, there is a great picture posted showing shuttle schedule and pick up points from T1 and T2. We took it from T1 - outside of door 12 you cross the street and wait in a median where you will see the sign. The median isn't wide and sort of feels like you are standing in the street but that is where the shuttle arrived right on schedule.
Checkin was quick and the person at the front desk spoke enough English to complete the process. Room was as other's have reviewed - decently sized with firm/hard beds but no lingering smell of smoke. Included 2 complimentary bottles of water. Wifi worked but remember many sites including google and facebook are blocked in China (that includes apps like gmail, facebook messenger, etc).
There are a lot of food options near the hotel serving local fare.
One part that stands out is the breakfast: We had a late morning flight so we were actually able to enjoy the hotel's breakfast. Take your room key and give it to the attendant as you walk in. There is a HUGE selection of hot items - both Chinese and western. We had more fun enjoying the Chinese style food - we can eat western anytime! I stay at hotels a lot for business (usually not this nice) and this has to be one of the best breakfasts I've seen - mind you my wife and I are back packers so our exposure is also limited.
Shuttle to airport left as scheduled and stopped at terminal 1 and 2. Accidentally got off at wrong terminal but it's an easy and well marked walk to the other.
Overall very good hotel for a PVG layover with a prompt and scheduled shuttle to/from the airport and an excellent breakfast.
Will definitely consider this hotel again for another PVG layover.
