Only 20 minutes from the airport in the Nanming area, which is not central Guiyang, but is close to all the historic sites that you may want to see. Very tall building, cold open reception with a few shops and two very slow lifts. Rooms seem to be on floors 4 and 5 and then on floors 23 and 24. The breakfast room is on floor 29, but the lift only goes as far as 27, so you need to walk the last 2 flights of stairs. When you get there, breakfast is Chinese style, not very hot and with no tea or coffee, so either bring your own or make green tea in your room and take it with you. The rooms are a good size with good facilities and nice hot showers. Can be noisy on the road side at the front.

Genuint men lyhört

Good location but average prop....
Pros: Good location in the downtown area; lobby is reasonably spacious; the room size of the standard room is acceptable.
Cons: Lobby is empty, cold and smokers are often around; elevators are not lit up enough and slow; hall way is dark and carpet was not clean enough; only shower is available and towel is not soft; breakfast is Chinese style, serve-yourself-otherwise-no service type, and most of the food items are cold. Be prepared for a crowded, chaotic dining hall if Chinese travelers groups are there.

nice hotel at great location
The Shiaoxing Hotel is a decent place to stay, and its location is just perfect for your visit of the amazing old city, on the border of which the hotel is situated. While it is very hard to find parking here, and the streets tend to be very crowded, the rooms are very quiet if you ask for one on the backside of the building. There is the regular chines food in the hotel's own restaurant, as well as internet on the rooms.
