Clean but cold hotel
My room was spotlessly clean, but very cold, as were the common areas. No heating, as it's turned off at the beginning of April, despite an outside temp of 5C with a gale blowing.
Good wifi, restaurant next door, staff try hard to speak English and be helpful. Breakfast buffet was adequate with fruit, eggs, and Chinese dishes.
Mildly recommended, but not central.

This place is in a poor location and was absolutely filthy dirty. The carpets were dirty and covered in cigarette burns and bathroom was awful and stunk of drains.
Everywhere stinks of cigarettes and the breakfast was dire.
The room had an array of condoms & massage oils for sale so one can only presume they rent out their rooms by the hour.
The bed was ridiculously hard but the bedding at least was clean.
This hotel doesn't cater for anyone who isn't Chinese and it doesn't care about any of it's guests.

Decent location but nothing sp....
As the first stop on a tour of China this served its purpose ok. The rooms were an ok size but far from clean. Wifi was patchy and breakfast a mix of local and Western. Our prevailing memory was of spilling beer on the carpet as a result of it freezing in the over active fridge.

Not centrally located, not cle....
Common areas of hotel very cold - keep your coat on (as all the reception staff do)
Rooms decent size and have safe but not particularly clean and are very hot - there are temperature controls in the room but not really good. Ineffective wifi.
About 15 minutes easy walk to The Temple of Heaven park where entrance is 10 Yuan excluding entrance to any buildings (I was advised that none were accessible and this was certainly the case during my visit), a pleasant walk with some attractive buildings. Some restaurants and local shops in walking distance. Otherwise not really walking distance to the sites.

This place has to be the worst place I have ever stayed. It's extremely dirty, in need of a major overhaul and better management.
The list of things that is bad is almost endless, from a filthy stained and dirty carpet to a bathroom which is also dirty and leaks everywhere. There is also a pipe in the bathroom that looks as tho it comes from the cleaning room next door and constantly drips and smells. The phone doesn't work so every time there is an issue I have to go down to reception and considering they claim to be an international hotel no one seems to speak a word of English. The place also stinks of cigarettes despite the numerous 'no smoking' signs, not sure if these are a miss-spelling or what ??
And the most annoying thing is I went to get breakfast and got told that they just finished at 9, despite not being told what time breakfast was when I checked in which I thought was standard.
