Emperor Hotel Beijing is situated close to many ancient Chinese temples in the Dongcheng district of Beijing. One of the most visited attractions of the city, the Palace Museum (Forbidden City) is within 15 minutes' walk of the property. Wangfujing Street (famous shopping street) and the beautiful Jingshan Park are also located in close proximity to the hotel. The iconic Tiananmen Square is nearly 10 minutes' drive away.
Decorated using vibrant colours and fine fabrics, the hotel's 55 rooms are elegantly designed and comfortable to live in. Modern amenities offered in these air-conditioned rooms include flat-screen satellite television, telephone, desk, personal safe, mini bar and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Premium toiletries are provided in en suite bathrooms.
The hotel's dedicated tour desk assists with travel and car rental arrangements. Tickets to museums, theatres and other special events can be booked at the 24-hour front desk. After a busy day, feel re-energised at the gym or unwind with a soothing massage in the massage room. Other than this, laundry, parking and free Wi-Fi access are some of the other facilities on offer.
Traditional Chinese delicacies are served at the on-site SHI Restaurant. Imported wines and refreshing cocktails can be enjoyed on the open terrace of the YIN Bar. Gorge upon a lavish Indian spread at Ganges Indian Restaurant, hardly 15 minutes' drive from here.
Yonghe Temple, the famous Buddhist religious site, is about a 15-minute drive away.
The location is great and the amenities are really special. Everything is included, and that convenience really makes a difference. My husband and I spent a romantic weekend there for my birthday. We just woke up and strolled over to the Forbidden City for the day. Such great value!

The staff of the hotel were freindly and helpfull to find a taxi, to explain where/how to go. The language is the main problem in China.
