Horror!!!

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe dort. Das Hotel selber liegt irgendwo in einer Nebenstrasse, wo uns nicht einmal die Taxifahrer hinbringen wollten. Das Personal hat kein Wort Englisch verstanden und war nicht sehr freundlich! Nur mit Hilfe unseres Guide konnten wir uns verständigen. Als wir in unser Zimmer kamen kam uns ein Gestank entgegen, als wäre seit Tagen kein Fenster mehr geöffnet worden!!! Die Toilette durften wir selber putzen, weil noch Spuren vom Vormieter zu sehen waren. Die Dusche hatte in allen Ecken Schimmel und der Duschvorhang vor so abscheulich dreckig, dass wir ihn nicht angefasst haben. Im Bett fanden wir noch Haare die nicht von uns waren so wie Dreck auf dem Kopfkissen. Auch nach mehrmaligem Reklamieren wurde unser Zimmer nicht richtig geputzt. Der Boden war so dreckig, dass wir sogar Fusspilz erhalten haben!!! In den Gängen des Hotels sind alles abgelaufene und dreckige Teppiche. Das einzige was funktionierte, war die Klimaanlage. Dieses Hotel ist wirklich NIEMANDEN zu empfehlen.

Nie wieder

Ich selber hätte dieses schreckliche Hotel nie im leben gebucht, aber da die Reiseleitung ein möglichst kleines Budget wollte, mussten wir wohl oder übel dort übernachten. Das Hotel liegt mitten in einem hutong Pekings, wo man nicht wirklich gerne freiwillig hin will. Das Hotel ist von zu Unterst. Bis zuoberst dreckig und die Etage Damen putzen die Zimmer, Gänge, etc. Nicht richtig. In unserem Zimmer fand man in jeder Ecke spuren von vorderen Gästen. Das Personal kann kein Wort englisch und geht nicht einmal auf die Reklamationen unseres chinesischen guides ein. Kein Hotel, das ich irgendwie empfehlen würde!

Red CRoss Hotel set up for Chi....

We were booked here for three days following a Princess cruise. The local agent at the cruise port and the transfer driver had never heard of this hotel which they found with difficulty after phoning. It is in an area which, although not far from the central area, is very poorly lit and likely to be very difficult for all but the most adventurous of foreign travellers. It is set up for Chinese and is not able to provide foreign language staff or food and is in need of cleaning and modernisation,. The local agent was as concerned as we were and stayed with us beyond the call of duty to help us find an alternative. We would have been really stuck if he had not done that because there was nobody around who could have assisted and we had no idea where to go, especially with our cruise luggage. So we did not stay there and have advised the travel agency that it is not really appropriate to allocate cruise travellers to that hotel - our advice is BE CAUTIOUS about this one!

very good location

This hotel is actually run by the Red Cross. The location is excellent, close to a subway station and very near a Starbucks, inexpensive eating options and interesting shops. Very little English spoken. Good sized room. Can be a little hard to find so getting to the nearest subway station and having the hotel name written in Chinese helps.
