If you are in need of comfort and cleanliness do not stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a terrible condition and part of town. Furniture is tacky and dirty. In the rooms expect to find things broken, the carpet dirty and the bathroom in a very poor state.
The resturant and food is sub-standard and do not expect there to be any concern for your complaint. It is a take or leave it attitude.
This being my first visit to Beijing, it certainly is an establishment I shall never return to and fellow travelers would be well cautioned to avoid it as well.

The hotel is on the outskirts of the city centre, close to the airport. It's easy to access via the subway and is close to a nice mall. However, although the room was nice, the air-conditioning broke and the toilet wouldn't flush. But, the breakfast was good, provided you're acquainted to what Chinese people have for breakfast. It's a good spread with a variety of different meat/vegetable dishes, congees, steamed bread etc.

Great room but located a littl....
After a 24 hour journey, from tropical country to a full day tour in cold winter Beijing, a nice warm room and hot bath felt like a paradise. This hotel room gave us a very great impression. I checked in in a slightly larger room in the corner. this room have a computer inside, large bathroom, and large hot tub. the only thing that i wasnt expected was the bed. it was hard. later i found that many hotels in cina using this type of bed. maybe chinese just like it. The warmer are very good, bringing warm air into the room and also they got warmer inside the bathroom which make it nicer.
If you're not on tour or travelling by yourself, then this hotel was not strategically located. it was near an MTR station though, but still, nowhere to go within walking distance.

Not coming back
The first thing I did when I checked into the room was to take a shower after a long day of traveling, and to my horror, the bath towels were worse than the floor mat in the bathroom, torn with many holes, they were not white but looked like something not thoroughly washed! I was hoping that they would change to better towels the next day, but what I got were of similar condition.
The rooms were of reasonable size, with the usual Chinese hard beds, but the carpeted floor was stained in some places, so bedroom slippers which were provided proved to be useful.
Bottled water not necessarily provided daily. Our party of 4 had 2 two rooms of the same class i.e. standard rooms, one had the water replenished daily the other not.
We asked for connecting rooms, but there was none at all in this hotel. In fact, they could not even put us side by side.
We did not like the buffet breakfast. Some food were too oily and salty for our taste, some were already smelling bad, like the salad bar. I overheard a waitress telling a waiter to go check out which food was becoming bad at the salad bar, and to remove it quickly. Pastries were hard and dry. There was only one fruit served: watermelon. Surprisingly, no Chinese tea was served. The coffee looked like tea though, and tasted horrible. The "orange juice" must had been made with syrup and not real juice.

What a name of a property!
It's a funny name for sure-Im sure the translation makes more sense in Chinese. It's a 4 star hotel on "Beijing" standards. Do not compare this hotel with a 4 star hotel in the US or Canada!
The rooms are a good size, the beds firm, but the bathrooms... Our toilet was broken and kept running all night long, the shower head above doesn't work but the hand held shower works. We weren't able to physically change the temperature of the room either so we froze for a few nights. When we left a note with housekeeping to up the temperature in our room, we were given a note to "blanket in closet because rain yesterday make Beijing cold". Cute when I think back on it.
