This hotel is really nice. Clean, nice room, good breakfast. The location cannot be better. There’s shopping footsteps away. Major problem was that the staff spoke no English at all!!! They also required CNY1000 safety deposit in cash and refused to exchange it for USD. Nice hotel regardless.

Best place to stay in Beijing
Imagine my surprise at the luxury of this hotel and the fact that it has it's own museum of Chinese historic treasures. In addition to being treated like a valued guest, the restaurant and meeting rooms are excellent. This is my first choice for an authentic Chinese hotel experience. They have 108 special themed rooms - from traditional Chinese to Blue Hawaii.

A Dazzling Beauty
This is probably THE most luxurious hotel around. The moment you walk into the lobby, you'll be dazzled by its beauty and luxury as well as grandiose style evocative of the palace. You can walk around inside the building and see all kinds of beautiful exotic objects from the ceiling to the walls and the floor.
The room is modern and spacious equipped with all the necessary supplies you need for a pleasant stay. There's even a jacuzzi, though the washroom is not really up to my liking.
The breakfast is amazing. Not only does it have a wide collection of Western and Chinese food, but everything is tasty and healthy. The waters and waitresses are very nice in explaining to you the details about each dish, from its ingredients to the cooking process to its nutritious value. If you don't overeat, you'll certainly have a very good start for the day.
The service is impeccable. Regardless what problems you have the staff is very responsive. They try their best to help even if when they don't have a solution. They even helped me find a local courier to ship my parcel.
All in all, both the hardware and the software are of the highest calibre.

The hotel is well situated to shopping, government, The Forbidden City, all within walking distance. The blend of modern and traditional China, make this a great experience for the traveler, coupled with fine service throughout the hotel. The atmosphere is not bustling commercial, as with the larger hotels, but refined and sophisticated.

Excellent hotel, quiet and nic....
I think this is not totally prepared for the Western public, because only part of the staff speak English, but the goodwill of the staff and the comfort of the hotel are enough to forget that detail.
The rooms are large well decorate and bathroom also very good, beds are not as soft, but this is the standard in China, no problem.
The breakfast is outstanding, with eastern and western options, delicious.
The location is next to a residential area, maybe a little hard to find many restaurants around, but you can walk to the end of the day in a well enjoyable.
In a new visit to Beijing I would stay at this hotel.
