Air China dumping ground

Dumped here overnight due to a delayed Air China flight that missed my connection to London. It is awful - ignorant unhelpful staff, dark and dingy room, breakfast was inedible - got the shuttle bus back to the airport as soon as possible. The worst place I've every stayed in.

Worst hotel to stay

Stayed for one night due to Air China flight cancellation. Worst hotel I ever stayed at. Very old room and bathroom is leaking and front desk would not help. Bed is incredibly uncomfortable. They claim it is a four-star hotel, but it's a lot worse than motel like Super 8 I stayed before. They provide shuttle every 40 minutes to one hour, but the shuttle bus is very dated and service was poor. If you are paying for the stay, try to somewhere else. Avoid at all cost if you can!

If you can avoid it you should....

As you can see from the reviews you are one of many people stranded in Beijing due to missed flight connections on Air China. This is a hotel. There is a restaurant. There is NOTHING you can walk to close by. The whole place smells of cigarettes. It is generally dirty and old. Beds are uncomfortable and linens are like everything else, generally old and dirty. We chose to get back to the airport as fast as possible as there is good food and shopping there. IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTIONS I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TAKE THEM! If you are there now and feeling awful let me tell you that you WILL make it through this. This experience should bring you closer together as a family and make you appreciate the good things in life. if you have children allow this to be a teachable moment and stress to them how great _____________ (enter your home country here) is.

Air China, you should feel sha....

This hotel is the worst place we ever stayed. Room looked like it wasn't cleaned for months. It smells cigarettes. It's not safe to walk in the room without shoes. You want to wash hands after touching anything in the room. And as a cherry on the top of cake our bed was full of some bloody spots (it looked like someone with sever skin infection spent a night there). We didn't sleep in 30 hours when we got there, but we escaped from there as fast as possible. We moved to other hotel. We paid it ourselves, it's still cheaper then trying to recover from a bucked of unknown sicknesses that you definitely get in "Golden Phoenix". If you are sensitive person, then don't watch picture that we will attach here.

Calm down, it's cosy, and it's....

People really need to calm down. All the problems above are not the hotels they are air china. Yes it is really naughty of them for making us pay so we don't have to room with a stranger. However it is only 150yen to do this, about 20 us dollars whereas most other hotels you'll be paying way more that that. The rooms are simple, typical basic hotel, it is obviously an older place but it is clean enough to make yourself cosy for a night or two before your onwards flight. The food at the free buffet for the air china groups is gross because air china don't want to pay for a full fresh menu and it's been sitting there all day waiting for passengers, plus its super limited. Give yourself some comfort and pay for a meal, like you've been doing or will be doing your whole holiday, the restaurant menu is super diverse, caters to all dietary requirements and is absolutely delicious. When you stop thinking of the place as an inconvenient no mans land and make it part of your trip, it's actually a very cosy and rather nice little stopover . :)
