Great little relaxed hostel
The hostel is a little out of the main town, but the walk is quite pleasant and didn’t take too long at all.
The hostel rooms were clean and the beds were comfy as well. There were plenty of areas to relax in the garden. However, inside there aren’t any sofas only clay benches which aren’t that comfortable.
The kitchen was well-equipped although a little small, however this didn’t seem to cause too many issues.
We organised all of our activities in San Pedro and the salt flats through the hostel and they were all great. The information we were told by the hostel was accurate and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Nice atmosphere but no hot wat....
The hostel has a nice atmosphere, I enjoyed the traditional style buildings and outdoor areas. The staff are very friendly. The kitchen is decent, though a little small and there is no dining area. The kitchen has no hot water available ever, which brings into doubt whether anything is clean. Despite paying over $40,000 per night for a private room with bathroom I only managed one hot shower in 4 nights. There seems to only be hot water in the middle of the day which is essentially useless.

Chevere! Very nice stay.
The cabañas (privates and doubles) are so nice! They have heaters and many blankets so your nights are warm and well slept. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. And the staff is super nice and helpful! It's a bit far from the centre, but that can be a plus if you value some peace and quiet.

Meh - not the best hostel (but....
Wasn't the best experience. Chilled out atmosphere which was great. Basic facilities. Wifi only in reception. Didn't have a hot shower the three days we were there. Basic cooking facilities. A bit out of town - 10min or so walk. For the price it's a big disappointment. Staff didn't really know what they were doing at times. Not sure what you get for your $ other than a bed. Beside the lovely stuff, pretty much didn't like it because the wifi is only in the reception, yes there are many showers but some how u have to run one to another to catch the hot water, beds were ok and we had a pretty heater in the room which we loved, I was expecting breakfast honestly or what a traveler needs the most wifi in the bed, and hot showers. Nothing is cheep in Atacama but if we are paying they better deserve it.
