Great homely hostel!
Made to feel so at home in this lovely hostel. Lovely wood burning fire to warm the whole place. Breakfast was the best we've had in any hostel, delicious yogurt! Would recommend if you're in Castro!!

Great place to relax
This is the best value backpackers hostel in town. Lots of cheery French people volunteering and an enthusiastic owner. Beds are very comfortable! Breakfast is yogurt, granola, bread marmalade and..... Possibly the only real fresh brewed coffee in Chile!

Felt like home
The owner is very welcoming. The rooms and bathroom are always spotless clean. The kitchen has everything you may need to make great meals. I stayed a week because it was the best option we found. Hospitality was great, we did not felt like tourists at all. Its walking distance from the center of Castro. Great experience.

Very welcoming owner
We ended up not staying a night in Castro but the owner of this hostel still helped us out a lot. He was really helpful planning our trip on Chiloe and we could leave our bags for the day. Placed looked really nice for a regular hostel price.

Relaxed, Clean and Friendly
Its hard to describe, the atmosphere was so easygoing and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfy, I loved the huge duvets and traditional foot blanket? Everyone chatted to each other and the host was happy to socialise. We never locked our room, nor even closed the door. Breakfast was unhurried, we had, toast, yogurt and the best coffee of my stay so far.
Good kitchen facilities. We were there off season so our rooms were in the main house. But we enjoyed our stay.
