This hotel is great value, basic, but very clean.Dimcho(?) the owner speaks perfect english & could'nt be more friendly/helpful.He can organise airport pick up/drop off, with his taxi driver neighbour across the street, this worked perfect.Great accurate advise on where to eat, things to see ect.Its a bit of uphill treck from downtown & might not suit the less mobile, esp if on the top floor.I would'nt hesitate to recomend this hotel to anybody though,we enjoyed our week there & would use it again

Good value, friendly owner
Pleasant place for a stay in off-season. We stayed there for 2 nights in April when majority of hotels are still closed.
We arrived at night (emailed the hotel in advance) and it was not a problem. We got a key to the room and went to sleep. The room itself was quite large, with a small balcony and ensuite bathroom. Wardrobe, table, chairs, fridge, mirror. Bathroom was OK - no shower cabin though. In April the nights were still cool and there was no heating so we kept windows closed. Generally the rooms are neither new nor fancy, but they are good and sufficient for a few days stay.
We ordered breakfast (8 leva per person) - they were simple but very filling with some toast, ommelete, sandwich and hot beverage. On the second day the breakfast also included homemade banitsa.
Location was very quiet, on a hill overlooking the Sozopol. The entrance to the historical part of the city is roughly 10-15 minutes away by foot, count bit more for return as you have to climb the hill. There was a small shop nearby, convenient for buying some soft drinks and beer. There is no private parking and we parked the car on the street, I assume in summer it may be more problematic with high number of guests.
Host was very friendly, happy to have us staying and happy to prepare breakfast just for the two persons as we did not see any other guests in the mornings. Great service.
All in all - if you do not need to stay right in the centre and look for a affordable, nice accommodation then Hotel More is a good option. I don't know the high season prices, but in off-season it was a very good offer.

Nice family hotel with a very ....
This hotel is a nice, small building, with spacious, very clean rooms. The breakfast was delicious, with eggs, home made pancakes, donuts and coffee. In the first day, the owner was very kind to borrow us Levas, the Bulgarian money, because we didn't have time to change euros.

One of the plus for this hotel is the fact that it’s open in april, most of the hotels in sozopol were closed. Another big plus: it’s clean, spacious, nice view. You can see the sea from the balcony, close to old sozopol, only few minutes was.

Very friendly and great value
We stayed in the Hotel More at the end of the season in mid October. As a result the hotel (and the town in general) was very quiet and some nights we were the only guests. However, we were made to feel extremely welcome by the lovely Dimcho and his wife. As other reviews have stated, the hotel is immaculately clean - including the bathrooms. Our shower was powerful and had plenty of hot water at all times. The bed was comfortable and there were extra blankets if we needed them. Dimcho is a knowledgable and interesting host and was able to tell us about the local area and history as well as point out good places to eat. He helped to organise very reasonable transfers to and from the airport. Dimcho and his wife prepared huge breakfasts for us every morning with fresh pastries, pancakes, omelettes and plenty of coffee. Our room at the top of the hotel had a lovely view of the sea from the small balcony. Although the weather was just about warm enough for us to sit out in the evening we will return a week or two earlier so a few more restaurants will still be open and the sea might be a degree or two warmer!
