Well recommend

Just got back from tiara Hotel bulgaria, rooms are lovely, clean and plenty of room, was cleaned every day, there's food and drinks 24/7 , breakfast and lunch was good and the snack bar, dinner wasn't great, but enjoyed eating out at dinner time sooooo cheap , pool was great and the water slides, staff very friendly and helpful , paid 100lev wen arrived which I knew about as it says wen booked, got it back wen leaving which wasn't a problem as alot of hotels do this now, all in all had a great week and will definitely be returning

Great place for vacation

We are very happy with our stay in this hotel. First, the rooms are on the large side, very newly furnished, modern and equipped with everything you might need. My compliments to our cleaning lady (room 522, Genka) that went step forward and made amazing animal shaped towels for our kid each day. He was so happy! Loved the food - diverse, great choice, tasteful and amazing service from the young ladies and the cook. The best part is probably the pool and the animation. Very big pool, it never got crowded, good service by the bar and nice selection of cocktails and drinks. Coffee machines are working 24hrs and can be found everywhere in the hotel. Drinks at lobby bar and pool bar until midnight, but the bar in the Mehana works nights too. Kids loved the games throughout the day, and there was always animation for adults after 9 in the evening. Nice terrace in the hotel to sit around all day. Check in and check out quick and smooth - helpful reception staff, that explained everything in details. Just keep in mind that for towels for the pool and spa, the hotel requires deposit of around 15 euro per towel. The beach is very close to the hotel, but during our stay it was very windy and the water was not clean. Nearby area of Sv. Vlas is much better option for swimming. Overall, very relaxing vacation and we're happy with everything and would definitely return.

Just got back from Bulgaria on 28th of may 2018 got to the hotel to be told thay wanted another 100 gbp when asked why thay said it was in case of damages as some British people had but when we spoke to some of the staff thay said thay hadn't heard anything about it I think it's wrong as the Germans or other nationally s didn't have to pay it is it a case of pick on the British we arnt all the same it's a lovely hotel the staff that clean the rooms are marvelous thay do a fantastic job only went to the restaurant twice as thay don't seem to do much for British but thare is plenty of places to eat out other hotels don't ask for more money thay Evan diddle d me out of the 15 lev for the kettle didn't get that back we have been going to bulgaria for 6 years not sure I'd go back to this hotel now

Don't believe the moaners ??

I witnessed some of the gripes that are being talked about here and most of of the people moaning were going to moan whatever the quality of things. How anyone could have a problem with the staff is beyond me, we had a laugh with all of them even the ones that could only speak English we laughed and joked with. At the end of the day a lot of the bar and waiting staff are young, if you moan at them from the second you get up till you goto bed youre probably not going to get A1 service. As for people moaning about the food it's been spot on, not heard one person complain. People are quoting the name of a rep that works for the German part of TC and there's an English rep in the hotel every day. The animation team were a laugh and gauged who wanted to get involved in activities really well. Most nights we met up with staff in local pubs and again they'd come and talk to us and wanted to engage with us to learn English. Rooms are cleaned every day, there always seems to be cleaners knocking about I couldn't fault that. If you want a nice holiday, with nice staff a smile, a please and a thank you will go a long way to making sure you have a nice holiday.

Enjoyable holiday

We (my daughter and grandson age 10 months) and I. stayed at the Tiara Beach from 7th to 21st May 18, and considering it was the opening week of the season, and they have old staff returning and new trainees I thought the staff managed very well with the moans and groans from the British. Although we took plenty of tin food for the baby, my daughter weened the baby off this food and started mashing the potato and carrot with gravy from the hotplate, We wouldn't have done that if we believed the food was contaminated. On the second week a chap said to me "same old crap" when I looked at his plate it was full. The hard working cleaners asked if "we wanted our room cleaned" every day So we had thunderstorms for the first couple of days, and a short power failure, So what? Especially on the first week rumours were flying round if we all complain to Thomas Cook, we would get our holiday money back, and I think that planted the seed for some of the complaints, not all but some. We met some nice people at the hotel, including the bar and reception staff. I would certainly return to this hotel probably in September or May next year.
