Regatta Palace Hotel

Hotel is not worth 4 stars. Internet was very bad and very slow. Food service at the pool bar and restaurant is self serviced in a "so called 4 star" hotel. Location is close to shops and bars and restaurants

Hotel is situated in a good spot. Close to shops, restaurants, bars. It is quiet But service in restaurant and at pool is not good. Internet connection is very poor. You cannot rely on it and hotel personnel cannot even reboot one router. Can you imagine that? Hotel is definitely not worth 4 stars. More like 2. 5 stars.

Service was bad overall. Internet was poor to non-existent. If you are lucky and your hotspot on your floor is working - the speed is terrible - 1-5. Nearby are like 20-30 more hotspots and all working on same channel and frequency. Rooms are small and not very clean. Pictures on the website are nothing like the real hotel. Not worth 4 star at all.

The location of the hotel is quite good. Close to nightlife and shops/restaurants. Place is quiet, but the service is awful. Its definitely not worth 4 star rating. More like a 2-3 star. Rooms and hotel seem a bit old. Room had a constant smell of damp place. On top of that you could not leave the AC on in order to dry the room. It was not very clean - the sheets and the bathroom. Internet was non-existent on 2nd floor. On the second day I asked the reception to reboot it, and they said they could not do that. And on other floors if you could ever connect - speed was around 5mbs. Not to mention that there are like a 100 more APs nearby and obviously hotel did not bother to switch to 5GHz to fix the congestion. Overall bad impression.

Stayed for just 1 night, but I loved this hotel. It's very close to the beach and the location is really great. In the area you there are many restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Room was comfortable and clean. Wi-Fi was a bit slow though.
