Clean, comfy and affordable
Me and my partner were on holiday in Brazil. We stayed here for 4 days, it was decent clean rooms, comfortable beds and the breakfast in the mornings was really delcious and well cooked. Fresh orange or grape juice. The staff are really friendly

Affordable and Clean!
I had a very good experience with this three star hotel with regards to their service. I stayed here for 3 weeks and overall I am very satisfied with my experience. The price is very affordable and the room is clean. The breakfast is very good with fresh fruits and different cereals. The hotel is located in Menino Deus neighborhood and very convenient to public transport like buses and taxes. There is a pharmacy right next to it and a small grocery store across the street so you can get everything you might need with your stay. There is also a family owned restaurant for buffet lunch across the street which is also very inexpensive and with healthy choices. The hotel is also walking distance to parks and a nice shopping mall. The free WiFi is not bad but can be improved.

Very Clean and Excellent Servi....
The hotel was very clean with very comfy beds. There was also a very nice breakfast served in the morning with fresh fruit and eggs among many other foods. I highly recommend to stay in this hotel while in Porto Alegre. It is in a great neighborhood with a market across the street.

Affordably priced for the tigh....
The Coral Tower is a both a 10 minutes walk to the bus stop on Iparanga ave to the PUC (the university is a 25 minutes bus ride on this route) and to the Praia de Bellas shopping centre. They served an excellent variety of food during breakfast, including scrambled eggs. All the front staff was very helpful, although not all able to speak English we communicated well thanks to the Google translator. Although it is an excellent looking facility on the front and inside the building, the exterior view from the window of the room looked run down or 'work not yet finished'.

A good option for tourists
Depending on your travelling needs, Coral Tower Express might be a good option in Porto Alegre. The hotel is in the nice Cidade Baixa neighbourhood which has plenty of bars, eateries and nightlife, and isn't far to the south of the historic heart of the city.
The rooms are fairly small and basic but they are clean and relatively modern. Except for when people were loud in the corridors, we didn't hear any noise from outside our room. You also have a safe and the WiFi is reasonably good.
The hotel's staff was first class - patient and attentive to all needs. The shower's hot water tap wasn't turning when I arrived in my room; a plumber was sent up immediately and the problem was fixed in minutes. We were also allowed to keep (several) large bags there overnight after we had checked out.
Breakfast was quite good and the hotel gets another tick for letting you help yourself to water and coffee at any time in the common area near reception.
The hotel was perhaps a little expensive for what you get but I'd still recommend it, particularly for tourists.
