Friendly and comfortable!!
This hostel is situated in a very quiet pocket of the busy and rather chaotic La Paz, so if you want to rest this is the place to be! The dorms are very quiet and spacious. Unfortunately their private room tends to get a bit noisy as it faces the courtyard/kitchen. My friend was very ill and we had to check out early, but the staff were extremely understanding and helpful! Definetly recommend this place, but do note that it’s not a party hostel.

If you're looking for a very c....
Then this is the one! Great hostel, very clean, friendly/helpful staff, the breakfast was yummy! **Breakfast throughout Bolivia in hostels is mostly bread and jams - the bread was really great here! They seemed to have some organized dinners you could join ( but I didn't get a chance to check it out) and the common area is a beautiful open space. This is a quiet hostel, and I did find that other guests seemed to keep more to themselves, so it isn't the best place to meet people, but if you're looking to ease into the high altitude at a chill place, this is a great option! Rooms/beds/bathrooms were clean and comfortable.
Word of advice: Taxi's had a very hard time finding this place, I have no idea why it was so hard, but it was consistently very confusing for them. This was with the address and a map. I don't think you'll actually get to this place without a map to show the driver....

Chilled vibes and an extremely....
3600 Hostel is great for those wanting a chilled out time in a hostel with friendly, sociable staff and a really good nights sleep. We slept in a six bed dorm. Each bed had a curtain and one of the heaviest duvet's known to men and women. We slept like logs. There are three beds stacked on top of each other, and whilst I have read reviews people disliking this, it is not bad. There is a ladder for a reason and if you are that much of a roller when sleeping, simply ask to move. The communal area was personable and you could have you own space if needed. The showers were super warm too.
The staff were really nice to us and did not bother you too much if you wanted time to yourself.

Didn't live up the reviews
I wasn't personally a fan. After arriving early we decided to have the recommend breakfast (extra 25 each) not recommend, you get 2 hard rolls with a hot drink and orange. Overpriced! And the guy was very rude and pushy for the money for breakfast right away. We didn't get told, about the kitchen after spending money in the market for 2 nights meals. We startered cooking and got told you can only cook before half 5, there is lack of communication in the hostel. We found it very strange that communal area turned into a cheap restaurant at night. You have to wait ages for the door to be opened, as you have no key. And the 3 story bunk beds are far from ideal. Overall overpriced and a strange set up

I stayed two nights and really enjoyed the breakfast and the comfy beds. The staff was very helpful. Cleanliness in the bathrooms was not always on point but the atmosphere was really nice and even if it was only for two nights, I felt home.
