Hotel inaccessible after 23.00
The Hotel was totally closed and dark at 11.00PM on Tuesday 14th June (all the curtains were open and the place looked abandoned - see photo). Despite repeated attempts to attract attention on the buzzer there was no response. Do not use this Hotel, and certainly not if you intend to arrive late.

Beautiful, unique and interest....
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Leopldine very much.
It was a bit tricky to find as it looks like any other of the surrounding houses, with no big signs outside to attract attention. That is a great thing, but makes it hard to find. It was even harder to find a parking spot on the oneway streets in the area, we ended up having to drag our luggage 500 meters.
If possible, book a parking spot with the Villa, if you arrive with a car.
Once we arrived, the building is amazing! Such incredibly beautifully decorated rooms, with old furniture, that looks like it belongs in a castle.
The man who works there was very friendly and helpful and carried my mothers luggage up all the many stairs to our room on the 3rd floor. Since the floors are very very high, it was quite a walk up the stairs (There is no elevator as it is an old building!)
The breakfast the next morning was very cozy and nice, seemed very Belgium, which is what we were there to experience. If you are looking for eggs and bacon, look somewhere else.
The only very very unfortunate thing with our stay is that the payment for the stay was withdrawn 3 times from our MasterCard. After emailing back and forth with the Villa for quite some time however, it has been resolved and the money have been refunded.
But remember to check your bank statement after your stay, ours happened more than a month after we had stayed! Apparently it is some electronically error, which I hope the administration gets solved fast, for the sake of future visitors.
But else, a great stay!

Amazing stay in elegant villa
We stayed at the Villa for the weekend of our wedding with close family and friends and had an absolutely fabulous time. The rooms and common areas are beautifully decorated and very spacious, the breakfast was great and the location is superb. However, what sets this place apart is the personal attention they had for us as they spared no efforts to make our time with them no less than perfect. Truly a gem in Brussels.

Lovely hotel, peaceful locatio....
The hotel was decorated very tastefully and the rooms were very spacious. The hotel is out of the city centre but there are good transport links within a five minute walk. Flagey Square is close by with bars and restaurants and a food market at weekends.
As my correspondence with the hotel had been in English, I expected that there would be an English speaking person to check us in. Unfortunately we don't speak French, so were unable to ask questions about the area - how to get into the city, which restaurants to go to for dinner or even where breakfast was served, which was a shame as the reviews for breakfast seemed very good.

Stayed at the Villa Leopoldine for a Christmas visit to family in Brussels. Great location close to Place Flagey. The house is very well maintained and elegant. Our room was "Etangs" on the street side of the house. The view from the room is great, but we did have some street noise. Light sleepers may want to go for a room in the back of the house. The host, Siegfried, was friendly, helpful and made a very nice breakfast. There is free wifi, but reception in our room was pretty low - not a big deal. Because it was Christmas, there were no other guests, so we had the house for ourselves, which made it feel like we were at home in Brussels. I appreciated that there was no TV in our room.
