Does what you need it for
We got moved here after pur original hotel (midi Station hotel) was suddenly shut down on the day of our arrival.
This hotel was alright. The beds were comfy and the service good. However the bathroom smelled quite a bit because there is no ventilation on there.

Very basic and starting to loo....
Its a very basic hotel, OK for one night. My room was clean and quite well set out, probably nice when it was first opened however the carpet was covered in stains, the decorative wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the curtains were torn.
Location is close to the main rail station, slightly dodgy area but not so bad that I felt uncomfortable.
Its an OK option if you want something basic with a low price tag close to the station. The best thing about the place is the staff at reception, they were very nice indeed.

Not for longer than 1 night
With this being a 3 star hotel you have got to assume budget accommodation, which was all we wanted. However this hotel would be better for one night's stay. We stayed for 4 nights & there isn't one big thing that put us off, just lots of little things: I asked if they had any milk to make tea in the room & was told no & I would have to buy some from the vending machine, however the vending machine does not sell milk on it's own. The tea & coffee tray is not replenished each day, which is not a game changer but is a bit of a shame. I bought my own tea bags (not a big issue once I knew to), boiled the kettle but as I poured some of the limescale appeared in my cup. The shower heads are really big & excellent quality, but because the bathroom is small & there is no curtain, most of the bathroom is pretty wet by the end of your shower. Also there is nowhere to store clothes except for 2 coat hangers, which may be unsuitable for longer stays. The location for Gare Du Midi station is excellent & although there is noise from the train, it should be fine once you have gone off to sleep. However, if you are light sleeper I can anticipate noise from the trains being an issue. There is a free luggage store which is ideal but they do not have any sort of ticketed system regarding claiming bags, you just pick your bags out of the store - I could have claimed anyone's bags as my own. I would not recommend to others unless it was for 1 night & public transport was a key feature of the stay.

Not quiet and not exactly nice
I was there for 4 nights in business.
Place is ok, but it's so loud around, so I couldn't sleep.
And area is not 'safe' there are a lot of drunken people around, like everywhere around big station. It's not a hotels issue.
Room was ok, but carpet was dirty.
Shower was this kind of open ones, so every shower you take you make a flood in the whole bathroom.
No water but kettle in the room
When I stayed there was no wifi working correctly and that was issue for me, because I couldnt working.
When I asked receptionist he said - it works for me and just ignored me.
Light on corridor was lighting up automatically, but not when you were leaving my room - I had to try to find lift in absolute darkness using my phone.
That was creepy feeling.
Receptionists said on the first day: 'Oh, I know it's not working' and that's all

Convenient hotel near the trai....
Stayed only one night in this hotel and it seemed to us that it had suffered from its guests negligence: stains on the carpets, broken objects etc., but also from its management carelessness. Maybe the area (close to Midi train station) does not look very safe but it is all right even at night.
The reception staff is very helpful and they show you the main sights on a free map of Brussels.
