Wonderful place to stay in Brussels without any doubt. Host Mr.Yvan is more than a host, He is real friend, gentleman and unique person. Me and my wife stayed 7 nights and never think about our home because we feel ourselves like in our home. Very comfortable and cozy accommodation with wonderful breakfast, wonderful view of Brussels and lovely pets. Transportation to city and airport is not problem, everytime you can take bus, tram or taxi to your destination. We are very happy to know Mr.Yvan and his wife during our stay. We wish all the best for the future and hope to see again soon…

B&B Bed in Brussels is feast f....
We stayed here two nights. The host Yvan is an architect. The place shows his influence. It is brilliantly decorated and designed. My wife is allergic to cats so we were unable to take breakfast in their beautiful dining area with a splendid view of Brussels. Yvan served us breakfast in our room. The breakfast is so large, varied and delicious that we felt guilty for not being able to eat all of it. It includes smoothies, tea, juice, fruit salad with mango and pineapple, meats, cheeses, eggs prepared to one's liking, and the best croissants I've ever had anywhere.
The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and well designed. The rooms are spotless. Yvan and his wife were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of all sorts. I can not rate this place highly enough.
My only warning is that it is tucked away in a residential area and the sign is so small one could walk right by and not notice it. Be sure to have a map, either actual or virtual, the first time one arrives.

Schaerbeek's Surprising Jewel ....
Situated in a mainly residential street in East Schaerbeek near Parc Josaphat, Parc Albert and the Evere border, Bed In Brussels is a remarkably simple name for such an impressive business. The building has a discreet name plaque and a tiny door-bell but once you are welcomed in by Yvan, you're already home. His lovely bespoke apartment(s) (There is a ground-floor studio in addition to the two-room arrangement on the 4th floor) are new, clean, cosy and tastefully decorated with mod-cons aplenty. Excellent shower, comfortable bed, a little communal lounge area for the two separate rooms (coffee machine, charging points etc), night-gowns and a quiet area - all good. The real coup is the breakfast - it was beautifully presented and comprised (deep breath) fresh charcuterie, cheeses, patisserie, fruit, smoothies (freshly blended), yoghurts. You won't go hungry, trust me. And then there are Yvan and his wife's lovely pets - two dogs, three cats and a chirpy parrot were adorable and friendly. Oh and the views from the breakfast lounge are pretty impressive.
As for Schaerbeek, it's an understated traditional part of Brussels with contrasting areas - Terdelt seemed fairly safe and smart with a small parade of cafes, grocers and the like - we ate at the Brasserie Cochaux and had an excellent meal (and beers) - while the main Schaerbeek town-centre had a balanced array of architectural disasters and triumphs although we only witnessed the road works just south of the station.
Bed In Brussels is 15-20 minutes walk from Schaerbeek station and around the same to the town centre or you can catch a northbound tram 7 from Lambermont if it's raining. Trains from Schaerbeek to Nord/Central/Midi (Eurostar) take from 18-25 minutes, quicker than using the buses! The Atomium is visible from the upper-floor balcony (about 4 miles away).
We'll definitely stay again.

Great place to stay in Brussel....
I absolutely loved everything about this place. The splendid quality of the room, the tasteful decoration and the attention to detail. Everything was perfectly lined up, clearly showing that the owners greatly value guest experience. Everything was very clean and tidy and obviously well taken care of. It's clearly maintained with love. The neighborhood is so quite that you can sleep very well at night. My double room offered a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was exceptionally nice with an abundance of good quality meat and cheese products, juice and fruits, home made bread and pretty much everything one could possibly want. Just very, very good. The owners are very friendly and quite passionate about what they are doing. I felt like home so I will definitely go back here, next time in Brussels.

Very nice accommodations
I recently stayed here for one night before flying out of Brussels. The accomodations were very clean, quiet and comfortable. This is the private home of a nice couple. The location is in a suburb of Brussels. It was a challenge to find. We took a commuter train from the central station in Brussels. It took about 15 minutes. Then we called a cab to take us the rest of the way. We stayed here primarily to be close to the airport. It was a 15 minute, 28 euro ride. I could see staying here longer but it is a bit out of the way. Very reasonably priced and a HUGE breakfast is included.
