Quirky boutique hotel in great....
We found this to be a comfortable and very friendly small hotel. All the staff we met were extremely helpful and personable answering questions, booking taxis and helping with restaurant reservations. We booked a superior room on the top floor. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was roomy modern and had everything needed. The layout of the room included some odd angles and rafters as we were at the top of the building. That made the room unusual but we liked it. There were shelves and clothing rails rather than a wardrobe which were fine for us. Could have used an extra mirror and lighting to use the table/shelf as a dressing area but that was a very small inconvenience. Breakfast was continental style and excellent quality and plentiful in a very stylish breakfast room. The hotel is in a quiet street yards away from one of the main shopping streets leading to the Market square. Only 5 - 10 minutes stroll to the centre or any of the other main areas. Would definitely stay here again.

Wife and I visited for two days as part of a 2 week sojourn through the Low Countries for the first time. This 3 star hotel rates in our minds as. A 4 star hotel. Relaxing, quiet atmosphere with superb, friendly service. The included breakfast was far better than the one we had to pay for at our supposed 4 star hotel in Amsterdam. We stayed in the superior double room with a canal view. The room was nicely appointed with several large windows that could be fully opened to expand our view of the canal. Hotel is within 10 walking minutes of the main town square. We would return in a heartbeat.

We wanted a hotel close to a restaurant where we were meeting friends for lunch and this one was recommended by another hotel as they were fully booked. There are 24 rooms and we were upgraded to a canal view. They hotel is very quiet and easy walking distance to everywhere in Bruges and interesting to explore the little alleyways off the main tourist parts. The staff of Lisa, Nicholas and Eva were helpful in telling us the history (front part 14th century - once a brewery) and recommending restaurants. There are a small number of covered parking spaces (extra cost) that need to be pre booked. The breakfast buffet is extensive with cereals, bread rolls, croissants, cheeses, ham and boiled eggs- nothing hot. Coffee is also do it yourself with an extensive range if coffee capsules. We found the two small pillows on the bed uncomfortable on our first night and Eva was very helpful in supplying large softer pillows. The room is quite small with just a hanging rail for clothes and shelves - no enclosed wardrobe - it was adequate though. A box of tissues in the room is needed. I’ve not given it an excellent rating because of these small things.

Weekend with friends
I travel with business to hotels and what a refreshing change to stay at a ace with so much character.
Location is perfect. The centre is literally a couple of minutes walk. Still a quite peaceful location. Drinks on the terrace overlooking the canal is a fantastic way to kick start your arrival.
Breakfast was continental but excellent in my opinion. Can be a little busy and getting somewhere to sit when the hotel is full can be a challenge. However the staff do everything they can to accommodate.
The rooms were clean and tidy. Well presented and equipped. My wife's hairdryer didn't have to come out of the case! My only point to note is the lack of aircon which on a hot day could impact comfort.
Staff were great, canal trip a must as is the brewery. As always avoid the square for food and drink as much cheaper on the back streets.
Look forward to coming again.

Hotel was located at central Brugge and all city is in walking distance. The staff was so friendly, helpful and they are always smiling. We like the hotel and recommend to everyone who is searching accommodation in Brugge.
Breakfast was a little bit weak, maybe they can think about increasing the variety.
