Quirky hotel, not the easiest ....
I was in Zeebrugge for the 100th Anniversary of the Raid on Zeebrugge which took place on the 23rd April 1918. My Grandfather was part of the naval storming party on HMS Vindictive, and so it was important for me to be there
The hotels location is very close to the main ferry port and although easy enough to find on the sat-nav (and I could actually see the building) getting to it involved a few U turns and risky manoeuvres to get me on the right section of road
Check in was easy enough, and was quick and professional enough for me (although I have read some reviews where the check in process can be a little stressful!)
I had booked a family suite (If you read any of my other reviews, you will know that I tend to opt for the larger rooms where I can, as I like my space!
The room was massive and consisted of a living area with TV, dining table and a small kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. The one strange thing about it is that there are no utensils or cups etc. which sort of defeats the object of having it in the first place!
Off the living area, there was access to a balcony, with views over the port
The bedroom had a large double bed and also a double bunk bed, but unusually, no second TV. A bit of a disappointment for me as I do like to watch TV in bed
Finally the bathroom. This was light and very modern with a good shower and large sink/toilet etc.
All in all, a great sized room with some good features, but lacking in the basics of a kettle and at least a couple of cups
The breakfasts were OK for my needs, and there was a small bar (although I don't drink) and also an outdoor heated pool - which I never tried although it did look rather inviting
Just one final point, the car park is quite secure with a coded barrier to exit. While I was there, there were a lot of Balfour Beatty vans on site (They had a job locally apparently) but despite there being at least 14 large vans, there were still plenty of space for everyone else; this was a busy weekend with many ex-servicemen and associations staying at the hotel for the Raid anniversary

Good hotel tricky to find thou....
This is a nice hotel with nice rooms in a handy location, however tricky to find, breakfast is wide ranging and rather good. I think the difficulty is finding the location as its quite set back from the road.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on fifth floor. The apartment was spacious, have seating and dinning area, microwave, refrigerator and also a balcony, pity it was in winter otherwise would be very nice to sit outside on the balcony.
It looks like brand new apartment especially the bathroom which was sparkle under the light. Everything seems perfect part from the awkwardly fitted shower.
The evening food was very good plenty options and the breakfast was good as well with a different cake each morning - yes, love the idea to have cake in the morning!
Only not quite sure was the design of the eating area, looks like a school canteen with coloured seats and tables.

Quiet environment very good s....
The hotel is modern, has a swimming pool, a kidcorner and all day coffee and thee with sweats.
The breakfast is of a good assortiment and the personnel has a eye for diets like coeliakie (glutenfree, lactosefree) and others.
They has also many business rooms for meetings with all the last of the stuff to give a good modern presentation.
In the neirbeirhood many little restaurants with view on the yacht port or the harbour or in the little town.
Not far from the sea, but not too close neither.
A good hotel for a quiet and culinair stay. At any times.

The hotel is nice and clean but has no soul. The room was average (suite). There are no coffee facilities in the room and the heating only works when you’re in the room. Breakfast was good and friendly staff.
