Not much more to add

This is the prettiest most exquisite little hotel in the city and when you have it all by yourselves (we rented all the rooms) you have your own private medieval house. Great rooms, wonderful modern bathrooms, a roof terasse with best view of the city and a great breakfast. Add to that a wonderful host and it could not be more perfect.

Best location in Bruges

The Bonifacius guesthouse is a hidden gem. Located right on the famous Bonifacius bridge in Bruges and is within walking distance of all major attractions in the city. Lovely appointments, small, cozy and luxurious. The service is exceptional. Old world charm, just like the city itself.

Totally lovely

We stayed for two nights and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Wonderfully located, close to everything in the compact town and yet totally serene and quiet once the rest of the tourists have finished for the day on the numerous tour boats which cruise up and down the canal directly outside the guesthouse’s latticed windows. We were warmly greeted by the multi-tasking host Lyne, who offered champagne on arrival and upgraded our room. She has great knowledge of Bruges and was very helpful with offering advice on the best chocolate shops (of which there are so very very many!) The room was charming, beautifully and tastefully decorated but with a modern and efficient bathroom equipped with gorgeous Hermes toiletries. We especially loved the many ‘wooden curtains’ and the colourful bottle window. Free mini bar as well, which was a lovely gesture. Amazing breakfast, with more optional champagne, along with delicious breads, pastries, cheeses, jams and spreads, as well as eggs and fruit. We were well set up for the day. Loved Bruges - a perfect place for a weekend break and Bonifacius is an atmospheric and unique experience with a touch of luxury and exclusiveness.

Lovely Lyne!

I booked a trip to Bruges as a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. I found guesthouse Bonifacius on and thought I’d give it a go...I’m so glad I did! Honestly it is one of the best places I have stayed. Lyne couldn’t of been a more attentive host, she is just lovely. She renovated the guesthouse and is clearly passionate about what she does. The guesthouse is stunning. We were greeted with champagne, she then handed us a map of the city and went through all the landmarks and best places to visit. She showed us to our room and then...BONUS - the roof terrace. We took full advantage of this. It has the most beautiful views of Bruges, especially at night when it is all lit up. Breakfast was included and it was a serious breakfast...3 courses + juice/tea/coffee and champagne ??. The location is central and you can enjoy canal views while eating breakfast. I absolutely loved it and couldn’t recommend it enough.

Wonderful Bruges Treat!

An incredible and beautiful guest house in a central canal-side location. The friendly hostess has done her best to keep the ambiance of this marvellous property, parts of which date back to the 16th century! The 3 rooms (suites) are very individual with all the facilities you need. We had a vast 4 poster bed, huge bathroom (with Spa bath and shower) and a separate loo. Breakfast was a real five-star treat. Freshly squeezed orange juice, a beautiful plate of fruit, great bread and croissants and, if you want it, cooked eggs in every variety - nothing was too much trouble. A magnificent coffee machine is free for guests to use 24 hours a day. The small fridge in our room which contained a couple of beers, mineral water, Coke and a bottle of cava was complimentary. Not the cheapest B&B we have ever had but in this case worth every penny (euro!).
