Outstanding B&B in center of a....
Our stay in B & B Galbert was exceptional. We loved walking out the door and being in the center of Bruges, one of our favorite European cities. The owner, William, was an outstanding host. He was helpful, friendly, and our breakfasts were delicious. We will definitely return here, and will also recommend B&B Galbert to our friends.

Staying with friends
This place is like staying with a friend! Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast is continental with a good choice of cheeses, cold meats and breads. Not rushed, very relaxed. Room very clean. 400 yards from main square.

Absolutely lovely place to stay, we had the deluxe king size room and was absolutely lovely room with everything that you need. Our host Wim was lovely and he couldn't do enough to help us. The breakfasts were amazing, so much to choose from. Location is very good and quiet, easy to get to all attractions. One thing we didn't expect in October were mosquitos - but the weather was warm so if you are visiting I would take some repellent.

We've done Bruges many times, and have stayed in various Hotels and B&B's over the years. Our experiences in Bruges have been hit and miss over the years, though we have been more inclined to opt for hotels.
To cut to the chase, everything you will have read on earlier reviews is totally on point. The owner Wim, is a friendly, passionate, and most helpful host.
The location is perfect... a quiet area within a stone's throw of the Markt, and the building's exterior typical of medieval Bruges. The interior is clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated with a modern spin throughout.
We had two rooms, both immaculately clean with the most comfortable beds. Room on the second floor has it's own dedicated bathroom adjacent to it, whilst the room on the top floor is ensuite. Each room has wifi, TV, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Breakfast appears to be becoming legendary on these reviews, and we can certainly vouch for those reviews.
A candle lit table with classical music greets you as you walk in. Primarily a continental style breakfast with various breads, croissants, cheeses, perfectly soft boiled eggs, meats, jams, honeys, yoghurt, fresh pineapple / orange chunks, chocolate, cereal and freshly brewed coffee. Whilst you're working your way through that, Wim is preparing fresh Orange/Apple juice. If the continental style doesn't suit you, Wim makes the most amazing bacon and onion omelette with Black Pudding sausage.
Worth mentioning some other small things that set B&B Galbert above the rest....
Whilst you are not gauranteed a car parking spot, Wim does his best to find you one.
Wim will recommend good places to eat, but will also tell you where not to eat.
If you forgot your umbrella, he will provide you with one. !
Bottom line is that you are not just a room number here... you are his guest, and you will get the best.
Will definately be back.

A home full of warmth and hist....
Bruges is all about the picturesque city and so is the B&B Galbert. Your host does it's best. He is providing the best breakfast we had in years and he has always a tip for his visitors. Modern, well chosen interior very suitable to this house full of history make you feel at home immediately. There is nothing missing and everything necessary available. Thank you, Wim!
