I travel frequently but rarely bother to review as many places are so similar that I barely notice the difference from one to the next. B&B Emma was different though, it felt more like staying at a friend's house which was a wonderful change from the corporate chain hotel experience. Great breakfast (local produce and delicious coffee) made by brilliant hosts who clearly have a passion for service and their local area. I travel fairly often to the Bruges area and will certainly return here. Loved it - thanks for a great trip.

A really warm welcome by the hosts. With a detailed and helpful over view of Bruges and places to eat drink and visit. The room was super clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Wide choice of fresh local ingredients enough to set us up for a long day walking. Would recommend.

From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome, Leen was a font of knowledge offering us useful information about the local area where to visit/eat etc over a cup of tea.
The room was clean and well equipped, and the b&b was ideally located in a quiet residential area with only a 10 minute walk to the start of the canals and picturesque town square.
Breakfast was full of local produce all explained to use by Leen, and Jimmy was also a great host providing good conversation over breakfast.
We left the B & B Emma a feeling we had visited friends/families..... and therefore we would definitely recommend a visit.

Awesome family run B&B!
Booked B&B Emma based on reviews and was not disappointed. It is still within the walls of the city (approx. 10 mins walk to the centre square), but it gave us a taste of life in non-tourist neighbourhoods which was lovely.
Jimmy & Leen were welcoming hosts and very accommodating. Jimmy provided us with a map and overview of the city and even offered to book tables for us.
The room was modern and clean with a nice homely feel - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast the following morning consisted of all local foods and was superb.
Overall it was great and looking to book again in the future! Jon & Claire

If you want a charming experience in a lovely Bruges home and neighborhood, then book B&B Emma. Our host and hostess extended themselves to provide a great Bruges experience. Leen, our hostess, served breakfast which included delicious local products. Our host Jimmy added to the breakfast conversation with local history and sightseeing recommendations. Room was comfortable and shower and wc minimal, but adequate. Leen took the time to write out directions to our remote destination in Normandie. Above and beyond!
