Extremely nice folks

The owner is one of the most friendly persons i've ever met. He knows how to please his guests. The accomodation is stylefull, neat. The location of the B&B is in the middle of the centre. Parking space is not applicable. Breakfast is old fashionly "good". They take care of that

Best B&B I have ever stayed. The rooms are unique and charmy, with four posted beds, and antique bath tubs. The house where the b&b is located is ancient and perfectly maintained, you will feel like being hosted by some 1800 aristocracy. The breakfast in the morning is served in a very elegant room, with touches of finesse and good taste everywhere. The owner is a really nice person, funny, elegant and really informative about his own town. Look, simply go there if you have to stay in Antwerp, you are not going to be disappointed. Thank you again B&B De Baron, it was fantastic and we will be surely back!

So Antwerp-like

In Antwerp, there are neighbourhoods where every house tells a story about its residents, current and past. That's probably why the stay in De Baron felt so authentic. As soon as you enter, you can feel the owners' collectionair's spirit and passion for antiques and cartoons. Cool antique details will follow you all around the 100-years-old-house in the city center. It was so nice to exchange a few words with the owners. Thank you Liliane and Luc for making my stay so pleasant!

Eclectic step back in time

This ornate b&b is a wonderful step back in time to a bygone era only a 5 minute walk from Antwerp central station. The roomy bedrooms are Belle Époque in nature with large exceptionally comfortable beds, good lighting with interesting decor and a large ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. I enjoyed coming back to my room after a day or night out and slept like a log the two nights I stayed here. Breakfast is more than ample with freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee, rolls, cheese, meats and a boiled egg. Only qualms, hard to find as the b&b sign is tiny. Floorboards can be creaky but it's an old house so didn't mind and you can hear people in the hall but with only 2 bedrooms per floor didn't bother me too much. Would definitely stay again!

Stunning & quaint

One of the best places to stay in Antwerp! located near the station and run by the most helpful and welcoming host, this lovely little B&B is the definition of charm. Everywhere you look, the lobby, breakfast room or any of the guest rooms you will find little hidden gems such as an antique silver sugar bowl or an old photograph. our room had a bath original to the house, with the lovely little armchair in the room and bath salt that was just waiting for us. I could go on about the host himself and the thought that they must have put into making sure to create the best possible atmosphere for their guests, but will leave it to you to go and find out for yourself.
