Basic average accommodation
Don’t expect anything fancy here - rooms are very minimum; duvet and pillow old and lumpy, towels very small and worn. Shared bathroom was small, but worked fine. Shoes off is required at all times (annoyingly slippers are not allowed). WiFi works fine in building (and on street outside). Very close to city centre - 10 minute walk or very quick tram ride.
Overall it’s very basic accommodation, but it’s cheap.

A happy stay at Happymit
I’m happy I stayed at Happymit.
Some essential info for travellers; Getting here is relatively simple. The airport train runs frequently, is fast and simple (you can book tickets online and show on your phone to the guard), and the train stops at the central station. From there, Happymit is on the U4 line and Pilgramgasse is the nearest stop. Ten mins walk from underground station to hotel. A very simple transfer.
The surrounding area does have a number of shops and cafes, but they don’t open in the evening. It’s worth noting that because snacks / drinks etc need to be bought during the day (if you want any) - there are stores open close to the underground station though.
As mentioned in other reviews, there is a no shoes inside the rooms / hostel policy. I don’t see this to be any problem at all, the owner is Asian ( Korean I think ) and no shoes indoors is a very standard practice to keep a place clean.
I was in two rooms over my five days. Both are simple yet functional. Ample electric sockets, two towels were provided and WiFi worked well in both room. Shared bathroom and WC was fine and there was a nice communal area with fridge and basic cooking utensils.
It does look like some basic repairs are being undertaken, plasterboard on some small wall sections. This is a budget option for travel though, and so expecting everything to be five-star is unrealistic.
This was a safe, comfortable, convenient and affordable stay. Can’t ask for much more.

Clean and charming
We stayed there for three nights and our experience was good. The hostel was clean, the rooms were comfy and the owner was nice.
You could use the kitchen, which was full equipped (except for an oven), so you could save some money (Wien is quite expensive). Supermarkets were close to the hostel (5 minutes walk).
The only problem we had is that the owner wouldn't let us in with shoes; she was kind of obsessed with that. You had to leave them at the entry hall. Once she caught me with my flip-flops and almost killed me with her stare.

A nice stay
We stayed for one night in a room with a shared bathroom. The room itself was okay with two beds. The location was okay and within walking distance of the train station. The staff was friendly but the english knowledge wasn't the best.

good for a sleepover
+ The woman was very friendly. The light in the room was good and we had a hairdryer in the room. It was clean and not too expensive.
- It's not exactly a pension but more an appartment with rooms. The english and german skills were not so great. We had to take the shoes off everytime we would enter the building. The man always spoke to his wife in chinese and we couldn't understand what he said, that wasn't so polite.
