Just across the train station this hotel location cannot be beaten. We had to spend one night before heading to Vienna. We found the breakfast a bit expensive so we went to a restaurant nearby instead

Would stay elsewhere next time
Stayed for 2 nights. Close to train station. Average service from staff.
>> 2 minute walk from train station.
>> Large room in old part of hotel (they appear to be slowly upgrading the rooms – the room I had was in the section that had not yet been refurbished).
>> Good shower pressure.
>> Comfortable bed.
>> Good buffet style breakfast selection including (usual European style breakfast of pastries, cereals, fruits, yogurt, cold meats + cheeses, juice, tea, coffee etc.
>> Noise levels for me weren’t too bad but my travel buddy struggled with noise from the corridor, the next room and the lifts (she had a room on a different floor to me in the renovated section of the building).
>> Free WiFi was reliable.
>> The female staff member who looked after the breakfast buffet was really friendly, helpful and attentive and provided wonderful service.
>> Hotel reception is next to the hotel bar so there’s a lot of cigarette smoke when you enter the hotel (as a non-smoker that wasn’t pleasant).
>> Single bed quilt on a double bed with no extra bedding available in the room.
>> Curtains didn’t do the job – lots of light from sunrise onwards so if you’re having a rest day, pack a sleep mask if you’re keen to sleep in.
>> Staff at reception were abrupt and unfriendly, and didn’t provide much information.
All in all it’s convenient if you need somewhere to stay near the train station and there’s a supermarket and some shops at the station if you need / want to stock up on snacks or grab something like a salad etc. for dinner if you’re travelling on a budget.
I was travelling with my mum (I’m late 30s she’s mid 60s) and we were given rooms on different floors even though we asked for rooms next to each other which was a bit frustrating.
We went out for a day trip to Vienna on a Sunday and returned late afternoon to find the hotel all locked up and we didn't know how to get in. We had to buzz staff to gain access and staff were unpleasant about the situation. We were told afterwards that reception is closed at certain hours on weekends and told how to gain access to the hotel 'after hours', but a simple notice in the room or advice on check in would have sufficed and avoided any difficulty.
And while I definitely don’t want to be “that traveller” who expects everyone to speak English and have every piece of information available in English (because I'm not - I’m Australian and always make an effort to learn the basics like hello, goodbye, please, thank you and do you speak English in the local language of anywhere I travel to) I was really surprised that there was zero information in English available in the room. Again even just the absolute basics would have avoided simple frustrations like not knowing about the reception desk being closed on weekends / after hours access, breakfast times, check out times etc.
Overall my thoughts are that the hotel did the job and was somewhere warm, dry and generally comfortable to stay in close proximity to the train station, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Good location and I would stay....
I would stay here again. It is a fair place for a reasonable price. Note I paid 90euro for one person and the city had almost no rooms available.
It is a great location right by the train station and old city. And a few blocks from a major hospital. The Klinikum.
The double room was pretty small. And so is the shower. The rest of the bathroom is OK.
Older building but kept nice with modern touches
Nice staff and many know English.
Note single pillow and cover when one person has the room. I thought my wife would be released from the hospital and saw the room with two pillows but after returning later I saw they removed the extra bedding. Interesting and I expect it saves them costs.
The bath towels are small. You get two but no hand towels. No shampoo or conditioner. Soap are in pump dispensers. There is a hair drier.
The breakfast was OK. Good selection but not impressive.

The room was nice and clean, service was very good, very close to the railway station. Good breakfast. Close also to the city centre. I had dinner here one night and there was a nice jazz performance the same evening. Recommended!

Good price value
Located accros main train station. This hotel has 3 stars. Nice rooms. Very clean. Bathroom is spacious. Bedroom had big bed, but, so uncomfortable! This hotel has a big chance to become 4 stars, if they could only invest in better quality bed! Continental breakfast is poor continental. Hotel has free wi-fi.
