Apple Tree Cottage
Apple Tree Cottage is one of a number of cottages and rooms available. All are authentic, not recreations of older times. Apple Tree is a two bedroom cottage in its own grounds, (with and apple tree dominating the rear garden space.) The accommodation is a full cottage with two separate double bedrooms, lounge/kitchen area and bathroom with shower over a bath setup. All well maintained and clean. Heating is very efficient making the cottage very cosy if the weather turns cold. Breakfast (included) is a 'do-it-yourself' array of home made bread, bacon eggs, juice etc. Other accommodation on site consists of a larger cottage in the 'fifties style', and another older cottage that is more rustic in style, as well as suites inside the main ex-bakery building. (Haven't seen these rooms) Overall, very satisfied with our stay.

Jag club weekend
Just where do I begin? The warmest welcome ever by outstanding hosts Danny and Amanda. The cottages are just wonderful having been decorated to their period tastefully. Amanda’s overly generous breakfast provisions and sumptuous home baked treats showcase one of her many talents. Remarkable woman! Her extensive knowledge of this quaint and pretty destination accompanied our walking tour of Westbury.
Danny maintains the cottages and grounds superbly providing maximum comfort and a delightful setting in which to relax and take in the delights of a simply gorgeous garden. I have every confidence recommending this establishment to any one who wants to be welcomed by the loveliest owners I have ever had the privilege to stay with. Thank you both for an amazing stay. Can’t wait to return.

Enjoyable family stay
Our host Amanda was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The home baked bread and sweet treats each day were a lovely touch. The free wi fi was much appreciated. The bedrooms were a really good size, spacious and clean. The washing machine and dryer were very handy when travelling with a young child.
Westbury is a pretty town and well situated to surrounding attactions on its doorstep and beyond to Devonport, Mole Creek caves and Launceston. A wonderful base for a lovely family stay.

Fabulous Base to explore
Great little spot - we stayed in the Corner Cottage - in a group of small cottages. 2 spacious bedrooms, big eat in kitchen, large lounge with fireplace. Nice & cosy.
Place showing its age - couldn't open as many windows as we'd have liked - and could do with a spring clean - but we were comfortable and would stay again without hesitation.
Andrea's breakfast supplies were a thoughtful suprise - but a fabulous 10/10 for the huge loaf of bread each morning. Outstanding - highlight of our stay.
Westbury is a top spot - great Heritage buildings - handy base to get to the Tasmanian Zoo, the Bridstowe Lavender Farm and the nearby villages.

Wonderful stay in a warm frien....
What a treat! We overnighted before heading to the Launceston airport. So glad we did. We stayed in the servants quarters, a one bedroom (with a four poster!) lounge room, kitchen and bathroom. Quaint setting with all the mod cons in a very old cottage, the former bakers quarters. Lovely full breakfast ingredients left for us.
