Everything you need
We had one night in a studio apartment and found everything to be of a high standard. Well designed and appointed cabin with good cooking facilities. Friendly welcome with the room pre heated for us. Nice quiet environment and accessible by a sealed road from the Lyell Highway.

Great little place.
Stayed for two nights after completing walking the Overland Track. We were a group of four adults and there was plenty of room in the two bed cabin. The excellent hot shower was so good after a week with no washing facilities at all. The wood heater was easy to use, plenty of wood supplied and so lovely and warming. The beds were comfy and the night quiet. Cabin was very clean and the kitchen well appointed. Proprietor told us about the possibility of patting rescue wombats at the local shop, this became a highlight of our trip.

This was my second visit. This time I had Cabin three; a comfortable studio cabin perfect for my needs. On arrival I was met by Pauline who left her desk to come to the door to greet me. She was most helpful with information of the area even making a phone call to see when the shop would be open. She then walked to the cabin and opened it for me. One doesn't get such personal service everywhere! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and I appreciated the grab rail in the shower. Then there was the bush view! How peaceful to sit out on the deck enjoying the changing light on the surrounding trees and listening to the birds! My three nights experiencing the quietness and stillness of the highlands were a treat. Only a half hour drive to Lake St Clair or the Wall in the Wilderness.

Very cozy and comfortable cabin with an excellent wood heater. All we needed was included and it was nice and clean. 20 minutes to Lake St Clair and The Wall. Also many fishing lakes nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Already planning another stay.

Very good and a lovely locatio....
We stayed here while travelling on an Intrepid tour of Tasmania. It was really good, we had a little fire in the evening in a log stove. Wallabies came in to the garden at dusk. Great night sky and good restaurant and bar on site. We were very comfortable.
